Marc-Andre Seguin's course, Jazz Guitar Accelerator, is by far the best combination of teaching progressions, Apps (Like Skool and SoundSlice), and an incredibly active and encouraging like-minded community that I have ever encountered in my nearly sixty years of guitar learning. My skill and understanding of Jazz guitar have grown by leaps and bounds since I joined his program almost six months ago. I wish there was something like it for blues, and Rock, but there's not.

It is helping guitarist to become confident, play and learn more about their own abilities, have partnership and coaching as well as knowing thyself!
Though I'm currently only in the early stages of this course, I can tell it is excellent. The breadth and depth of information is extensive and clearly a huge amount of effort has gone into designing how the material fits together to ensure it is well paced.
I am a seasoned player in rock/pop/funk/metal guitar and have wanted to break the jazz barrier for years. I have struggled, given up, started again, got frustrated, started again for years. With this course I finally feel I am getting somewhere and making good progress. I can tell the work I am putting in now is creating a strong foundation for the later lessons and I am very excited!

The instruction is truly individualized. It's not a program that you blindly follow. Marc listens to your goals, assesses your skills, and assigns work based on where your opportunities lie. I've improved immensely since starting the program.

It is only 4 months that I have stared with Marc Andre and I have already made huge progress. It is good to have guidance from a well advanced guitarist. I got direction and strategy. Thank you very much Marc Andre for the great support

Marc does an amazing job of putting skills in easy to digest “context,” something that has been missing in my learning journey up until now. The program is amazing. His teaching and feedback are great. And the platform is the best I’ve experienced for on-line learning. Finally, the combination of individual attention and the interactive community of students, is something I had not expected, and adds so much to the experience.
If you want to learn how to play jazz guitar, you really have only 2-options:
1. You can keep wandering around the internet searching for the answers and next year
... you'll be playing guitar pretty much like this year
or
2. You can stop wasting your time, join Marc's program and next year
... you'll be playing jazz guitar.
It's that simple, pick option 1 or 2.

I honestly think the program Marc has developed over the years is very powerful and highly effective. He is a top professional instructor who masters what he's talking about and brings you clarity and great feedbacks on your playing, allowing you to continually move forward towards your goals.
The community is also very supportive and constitute a safe space where you can ask questions, share videos, learn and discover from other students posts.
My playing has evolved so fast in such a short period of time. I'm very grateful for your teaching Marc! A deep thank you from the heart!

I signed up for Marc's class about 3.5 months ago after working on my own (Youtube, books, etc.) for a few years. In a word, Marc is probably the greatest jazz (guitar) teacher out there, period. I've played all my life, and been around the block a few times--I know what I'm talking about. Marc has spent an enormous amount of time "cracking the code" of jazz, and IT WORKS! He has also gathered an incredible number of useful videos, and is always available to answer questions, not to mention weekly lessons.
If you're serious about becoming a real jazz musician, join his community of students. Or, just keep wasting your time, wishing you were a real jazz guitarist.

Do yourself a favor and join the Jazz Guitar Accelerator Program!
My playing has improved tremendously and I've had fun every step of the way.
Marc is a truly gifted teacher who can take you all the way through your journey in jazz guitar. I needed an organized approach to grow and Marc has it ready for us.
I cannot express my gratitude enough to Marc and the Jazz Guitar Accelerator Program!
Nizar

The Guitar Accelerator program is the best thing I have done for myself, and my guitar playing, for decades. This is not simply a collection of lessons, but a year-long curriculum designed to qualify someone for admission to a university guitar program. It is a premium program with a premium price, so it will appeal only to a minority of us; but it is well worth it...unless you are wedded to keeping music instructors at starvation wages. (Personally, I think the good ones should earn at least as much as lawyers!) Group calls, one-on-one calls, video submissions and feedback all support the curriculum, which includes Barry Galbraith comping and a variety of Parker/Bebop heads in the first half. The small community of fellow travelers is welcoming and inspiring. Marc-Andre and Nathan are always available and each contribute in their own unique style. Even though I chose to do 6 months, the price includes the material for the full year, less the interactivity.

Been playing guitar for 60+ years and have seen and participated with many guitar instructors. Marc stands out ,head and shoulders, as a passionate teacher dedicated to meeting the student “where they are” and taking them to higher ground. I’ve worked with him for about 2 years and I have made so much progress. If you’ve always wanted to play Jazz music, look no further.

I played guitar as a teenager and even played in the state university big band in my twenties. I quit playing to raise a family and to build a career. When I retired in my fifties I rediscovered my love of Jazz Guitar. There is a timelessness to learning new things and practicing guitar that is pleasantly nostalgic.
Three years ago I found JazzGuitarLessons on YouTube and Marc and his team. I signed up online and started his courses and was very happy with what I found and the progress I was making.
Last February the World began to shut down due to the pandemic. I decided to try out online coaching from the folks at JGL. At first it was just once weekly tutoring, but I eventually upgraded to the Jazz Accelerator program.
Wow, what a great decision that was! I have finally found the "secret" to getting better at playing Jazz guitar. It all boils down to playing for a coach and then doing what the coach tells you to do! I needed someone to hear where I was at and then correct and guide me to where I want to be.
It actually gets better, because to me the point of the Jazz Accelerator program is to teach you how to be your own coach. I have learned how to hear myself and my performance better, to critique and improve on what I hear, and to repeat the process for continuous improvement.
Marc-Andre is very accessible and runs in person Zoom meetings multiple times per week. The system is setup as a group activity with individual coaching as part of the package. It is very helpful to be with a group of like-minded folks all trying to play better Jazz.
I highly recommend the Jazz Accelerator program if you want to finally, once-and-for-all learn how to learn to play Jazz Guitar.

I started the Comping Ready program about three weeks ago. Several things I can say so far:
- a framework that keeps focused on goal; you learn to learn
- the content of the program is very relevant
- A platform rich in content ( be careful not to get lost and follow the method proposed 😊 )
- appropriate and dynamic support ( and friendly 😊 )
- Posting our videos on group chat is very formative and motivating
I highly recommend JGL to anyone determined to make the necessary efforts to progress ( there is no secret or magic formula... )

After 35 years of noodling I took the plunge and signed up for lessons at JazzGuitarLessons.net. Having completed a few courses. I'm happy to say that this is money and time well spent. The structure of the courses and quality of the content is outstanding.
The team there has proven to be of great help and has been able to provide me with recommendations and guidance specific to my interest.
The team churns out material explaining the ins and outs of various styles of playing, putting everything into the context of the standards.
I've been exited to see how JazzGuitarLessons.net operates as a start-up, because it is obvious that the team really wants to learn from us the users what works and what does not. And to improve the offering in accordance.
Me, I'm thrilled I came across JazzGuitarLessons, and the team there. Could not be happier with what I have seen so far.

Marc and his team will take your playing to the next level! After 30 years of playing, and much experience with many schools and teachers, I can say with confidence that JGLs methods work. By gradually adding to the core curriculum, JGL are able to make the learning more fun and less daunting, but make no mistake, you will be challenged! After 6 mos with the program, my playing has grown in leaps and bounds and I’m playing much more effortlessly, I’m learning how to learn more effectively and it has been very rewarding! Highly recommended!
