The mentors and coaching instruction inside this program are genuinely valuable I learned a lot, grew personally, and made some incredible connections along the way. Those three things alone earned my stars.
But here’s what nobody tells you before you sign up: the real work begins after the cohort ends and that’s exactly when the support disappears.
The transition from “student high” to building an actual business on your own is brutal. There’s no structured support after you pass your final exams, and that’s the moment when limiting beliefs hit hardest. It’s when you need your mentor the most, and they’re simply not there anymore.
Want to learn the business side how to actually find clients, market yourself, and generate income as a coach? That’ll cost you more money. It’s not included.
The result? So many genuinely gifted coaches coming out of this program are struggling. Not because they lack skill or heart, but because finding clients is the single biggest challenge in coaching and this program doesn’t adequately prepare you for it.
If you’re considering enrolling, go in with your eyes open: you’re investing in personal growth and coaching skills, not a roadmap to a sustainable business.
My hope is that JSCS improves post-cohort support, because the world needs more of these coaches to actually succeed.

And about that certificate. You graduate with an AC-accredited credential which sounds impressive, but the school is not ICF-accredited, the gold standard in professional coaching. In reality, the certificate carries the Jay Shetty name more than it carries weight in the wider coaching world. If clients, corporates, or further education institutions research your credentials, don’t expect it to open every door.

If I had to choose again I would go with A DIFFERENT school. Honestly, the biggest disappointment is Jay Shetty’s name being on this. I had faith in what he stood for but that reputation doesn’t translate into a credential that travels. If I could do it again, I’d choose a program recognised internationally, one where the certificate actually opens doors rather than just standing behind a personal brand. His influence brought me in, but it’s also what let me down. That means something. hopefully if you’ve already read it as far, that means that you are doing good research.

My experience with the Jay Shetty Certification School has been very positive. The teachers, mentors, and overall energy of the program create a supportive and meaningful learning environment. I especially appreciated how thoughtful the structure of the curriculum is and how much intention has clearly gone into designing the student journey.
The program provides strong coaching foundations and practical tools that help students build confidence as coaches. Throughout the experience, I felt encouraged and guided, and I truly value the quality of the training and the commitment of the team supporting students along the way.
One suggestion that could make the experience even stronger would be to organize the unsupervised coaching materials more clearly in one central place on the platform. The resources are there and very helpful, but bringing them together in a single step-by-step pathway would make navigation easier, especially for students completing a fully online certification program for the first time.
Overall, I found the program inspiring, well structured, and professionally delivered. It is clear that the school genuinely cares about student growth and development, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the experience.

Incredible experience! I started this certification program in October 2023 & graduated from the program in June 2024. The teachers & trainings were excellent; the accountability & support were second to none; the community is engaged, inspiring, & supportive; the transformation you feel in yourself as an individual, as well as in your ability to coach others, is powerful & invigorating. The program as a whole is a big time, energy, & financial investment, no doubt, but it was also, in my opinion, well worth it! I considered several coaching certification programs prior to committing to this one & the JSCS definitely felt like the right fit for me, my ambitions, & what I was looking for in a coaching certification program & beyond. As a past graduate of the program & current certified coach community member, I can share that the school constantly strives to innovate, expand, & improve their online platforms, educational programs, & community offerings to both current students & program graduates, creating an amazing & strongly connected online community of aspiring & working coaches around the world!

This was a great experience people the Mentors and Peer community made it easy to feel part of a bigger community I didn't realize I needed. The entire process was smooth.

I chose Jay Shetty Certification School a while back. When being a Coachee in one of Jay's Coaching programs myself it helped me realize that I was a Coach already - not the school teacher I thought I should be.
I loved the community and the instructors. Even though I am not a fan of online-anything the calls and the training were incredibly productive and helpful.
There are so many Coaches and programs out there and of course one of the others would have been a good fit for me as well. But I am happy that I chose JSCS and would do it again instantly.

The content, lessons and coaches were really good, I felt really supported and enjoyed the course thoroughly and learnt a lot.
In hindsight I find that no talks about how difficult it is to build an actual business after graduation. The launchpad month only covered the tip of the iceberg. Further support offered on the circle Plattform and other business exhilirator courses we would have to pay for… so after two years of trial and error I have given up!

While I met some amazing people, I was very disappointed by the content of the program. From my perspective, it lacked depth and felt quite surface level.

Get an ICF certification if you want to formalize your practice better.

The community motivates and empowers you. You feel connected with your peers and you grow together.

JSCS is a warm and supportive community that invites inner growth and curiosity for change. We can only take our clients as deeply as we have taken ourselves. JSCS calls us to rise and embody that which helps navigate us through this wonderful ride called life.

The school is so structured with its learning and how individual growth falls into the learning is truly amazing. The times from when you are doubting yourself to celebrating yourself are incorporated with the learning so you feel supported at each stage.

The only thing I found difficult was the time difference which hinder me being more involved but …. If I had know that all the time effort that was going to go into it I would have waiting for the right time which would never have come and I would not be a Jay Shetty Certified Coach today 😃. So grateful to understand that the journey matters more than the destination
