I recently bought a couple of Jamie’s perpetual calendars. I particularly loved that he offered an option to have the calendar without the lines for each day of the month. This allows my kids and I to use the space more flexibly and to draw our own, rather less professional, pictures for the events coming up in the diary in a way younger kids who can’t even read can understand. It also allows the stunning bird paintings to draw the eye and remain centre stage on my wall. I LOVE this calendar. It is a moment of peace and serenity on my wall, a reminder of birds from my home country and a detail in nature that I rarely take the time to notice and appreciate until I see Jamie’s art.
