Unfortunately, it's over easy for A+ clients only. For regular people, even upon purchasing the high level service, getting correct information from the help line or a call back from a manager is impossible. What should have been a quick two day turnaround has lasted over 2 weeks and is unresolved. Very disappointed and discouraged as this company has not delivered on what it has promised during an already difficult time.

This is a complete scam (and so is divorce.com who just bought It's Over Easy). We went through the whole process, clicked on the "Generate documents" button, and they completely ghosted us. Nothing. I called and they didn't even have a record of our account. And then the "customer service" agent hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and find another option.

The service that this business offers could not be more frustrating and honestly now that we've been struggling to get this to work I'm realizing that I could have done all of this on my own and saved $1,000. This business is essentially a huge scam preying on the vulnerabilities of people going through one of the hardest times they'll go through in life and I wish I could get my money back. The user experience design of the digital forms is regularly glitching and giving errors. Customer service is really difficult to get a hold of no one ever returns calls or rarely messages you back so you have to find roundabout ways to contact them and even when you do contact them the resolutions to the problems are not effective. My husband and I have been stuck trying to figure out how to get this service to work when we could have done this all on our own and filed several months ago. We have literally been trying to resolve technical issues with them for MONTHS because that's how faulty and ineffective this service is. This business will gladly take your money and leave you hanging and not follow through with the service that they say they will provide. I have contacted their customer service several times and more than one of the customer service representatives have told me that they are actually shutting down itsovereasy.com and replacing it with divorce.com, yet they are not letting the current itsovereasy.com customers know about this and forwarding them to the new and improved version of their business, which I assume is better quality. I get the feeling that they know that itsovereasy.com is a failure but they aren't holding themselves accountable for everyone who's already signed up and struggling with the service. If you are a new customer and you try to go to itsovereasy.com it automatically forwards you to divorce.com which tells you that they are discontinuing the former. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They majorly lack accountability and integrity.

Me and my now-ex-wife wanted to have a simple divorce with no headache. To our surprise, you can't quickly and simply divorce in California! Maybe if you have a law degree it's simpler, but we didn't, and we're busy people to study all the forms ourselves...

We first contacted a bunch of "classic" lawyers in our area and they quoted us some ridiculous amounts. On top of that, I felt like those lawyers were trying to overcomplicate things — I was worried the divorce would get more difficult. Only then we found IOE, and we were delighted that their "all inclusive" quote was less than half of what we got quoted previously.

We decided to try IOE. It was over... mostly easy? Basically you fill out some forms online and — as long as your case is simple enough — it generates the necessary documents for the IOE staff to review and tweak, and send for your signature. And then you wait...

It was not fast! The local court was very slow doing anything during COVID. Unfortunately, It's Over Easy (or any other lawyer, for that matter) doesn't have any additional visibility into what is the situation around your case with a court. So if your local court is slow/bad, IOE can only do so much for you when you wait... Most of the process that IOE has control over was reasonably fast though.

One of the mistakes I've made was assuming that they online forms represent all you can enter. Some of my income/assets didn't fit their questionnaire very well — turns out all I needed was email them and they helped tweak the "actual" forms generated for the court. So don't think about it as an electronic check-in to your flight where you get the print-out instantly; rather, it's just a convenient way to explain the IOE staff what your case is like.

The other thing that in hindsight could have been better was the communication of the timelines. Once you file for a divorce, there's a 6 month "cooldown" period. I thought I can just wait for half a year, then fill out a couple more forms, wait for a couple of days, and file the final forms with the court. What happened in reality is that once the cooldown period ended there were a bunch more forms than I anticipated, and it took us ~6 extra weeks after the cooldown period. None of those forms were actually blocked by the cooldown period, so had I known I would have started those forms a few weeks before the cooldown end.

If I had a time machine, would I use IOE again? Yes.

Went above and beyond to assist with my divorce even though we had purchased the most basic package of just paperwork preparation. They were proactive in making sure the divorce proceeded amid COVID shutdowns, and always had a compassionate tone. I might still be sitting around waiting for my paperwork to be processed if it wasn't for their help. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a simple divorce with no children or shared assets, so instead of spending thousands of dollars on lawyers like other friends with similar divorces, we only spent a few hundred dollars. It's an incredible offering.

This service was horrible, little to no communication, no guidance, no document review. I felt like an idiot when I received feedback from the courts. The lawyer, I had to hire, just laughed at what "it's Over Easy" provided. It's not over Easy! What was over easy was my $1,500.00, for nothing.

Do not use their service, a Lawyer is cheaper for amicable divorces.

The process of our amicable divorce was easy and straight forward. It did take 14 months so it was not quick by any means but I have recommended ItsOverEasy.com to a couple friends. When I did have questions, customer support was quick and helpful

I think these other reviews are fake. I used the service and there was basically NO service. It's like using Turbotax for your divorce except the filings turn out sloppy and you need to rewrite them, no one reviews and asks you questions to make sure you've been thorough or didn't enter any mistakes, and worst of all our filings have been rejected TWICE now by the courts for ineffective service of process, incorrect filings, not following court rules, etc. Divorce has been delayed several months and to get a response from the service you basically have to write a threatening email. Otherwise you won't hear from them and will have no clue what's going on with your case.... Should have paid for a lawyer even though my divorce was not contentious. This "service" is a complete joke and waste of time.

Very efficient and effective process for filing for divorce and division of property.

Our experience going through this process was quite positive. While there were times we needed help, it is a very detailed intensive process, but when we needed assistance we received it. I found it very effective and would recommend it.
