Day trip to Paphos from Larnaca Using itaxi
I used itaxi for a day trip to Paphos from Larnaca, Cypress including intermediate stops to see Kyrenia Castle, Tomb of the Kings, Aphrodite's Rock, Sanctuary of Apollo, the Kourion Archaeological site, and the incredible mosaics of the Paphos Archaeological Park...and we stopped for lunch at one of the best Greek/Cypriot restaurants I have ever eaten at. Chrysotheo, my guide, was incredible. Excellent conversationalist (and thus wonderful English), great knowledge about what I was going to see, very safe driver, and made sure that I had plenty of time to visit each site as desired. She also took me to a fantastic Greek restaurant for lunch......what a great food experience!! (that was probably one of the best parts of the tour). This visit was the first day of 10 on my vacation and it is going to be hard to top. Highest recommendation for itaxi and for Chrysotheo!!

Airport pickupp
Used iTaxi for airport pickupp and a couple of short rides around Limassol during our stay, it was easy to book, driver was early, clean car and friendly without being overly chatty, which I appriciete at 6 AM. Prices were clear upfront and no surprises.
Only small thing, it would've been helpful if the app (or booking confirmation) showed the car's license plate or a photo, especially at Larnaca where there are tons of Taxis, had to double check a few times. But overall, smooth experience.

I would like to personally thank I Taxi Cyprus for their outstanding service. Our flight to Cyprus was delayed three times, resulting in us landing five hours later than originally scheduled. Despite this, the original cab driver stayed in contact with me throughout the delays, and they even arranged for a driver to pick us up upon our late arrival. When it was time to leave Cyprus, the van driver was punctual and highly professional. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of reliable transportation.

The customer's support is very good and caring.

Cash Only?! Avoid this tour operator
I did the UNESCO Churches tour with Maria on January 19th, along with my elderly parents. We had a nice time on the tour, but it def ended on a sour note:
As we were being dropped off at our hotel, I was getting out my credit card to pay the driver and was unexpectedly notified that it had to be CASH ONLY. I was like "what, really??" She said, "yes."
The price of tour with transfer was about 450 euros, and I don't walk around with that kind of cash, so I'm immediately stressing out trying to juggle helping my elderly parents with their luggage while Maria wants me to cough up the cash. She ended up driving me around in the dark trying to find an ATM, we eventually found one and I paid an extra 15% to the ATM along with the ATM access fee and non-Chase Bank ATM fee. So it cost me about an extra $130 USD because either her or iTaxi decided to surprise me with a cash-only bill.
Also, if you look at iTaxi's website FAQ it says that they accept cards.
This situation was completely avoidable on the part of the tour operator, but I guess they'd prefer to create a substandard, stressful, and costly customer experience

However, we have noted your recent feedback on Google and Trustpilot, which your closing part appears to contradict your earlier positive comments.
Of course, we are open to all reviews, both positive and negative, as they provide us with valuable insights to enhance our services.
For your first transfer for your Airport pickup, your booking was prepaid online via card prior to your arrival in Cyprus.
Your second transfer was booked via email; no prior card payment request was made. The driver had a payment terminal and accommodated your card payment request at the end of the journey.
-- As demonstrated by these two transfers, we adhere to our website’s FAQs, accepting card payments.
The third transfer was for a day trip which was arranged via email for a longer trip with a higher cost. There was no prior discussion regarding the payment method, and we acknowledge that we did not inquire about your preferred payment method. At the journey’s conclusion, the driver lacked a payment terminal, and it was mutually agreed to visit a nearby ATM for cash withdrawal.
It goes without saying that it was a big mistake by the driver where at that moment she didn't inform the office that for whatever reason she didn't have with her the payment terminal. Had we been aware, we could have provided alternative solutions, such as sending another driver with a payment terminal or sending you a link directly to pay online by card.
In Cyprus, we follow all EU regulations concerning driver and vehicle licensing. Regarding payment methods for transportation services, there are no strict regulations mandating the use of cash or card payments only, nor specific requirements on when payments should be made during a journey. The Payment Services Directive regulates payment services in the European market, but it does not impose specific mandates on payment methods or timing for transportation services.
The payment method and timing are typically agreed upon between the customer and the service provider. In our case, this involves communication between the client and the driver, who coordinates with the company.
Mrs. Maria has been a valued professional driver in our company for over five years. Had she realized that cash payment would be a significant concern for you, she would have addressed it directly with you in another way or consulted us for an alternative solution. Perceiving no issue, she took the initiative, with your agreement, to drive you to an ATM.
While we do not believe the fault lies entirely with us, we are committed to customer satisfaction. We would like to offer a refund of 50% of the ATM charges incurred of $130 USD to €125 EUR, amounting to €65. Please provide your bank account details or Revolut information privately, and we will gladly process the refund promptly.
Another proposal would be If you plan to visit Cyprus again soon, we can retain the €65 as a credit for your future journeys.
We are committed to maintaining transparent communication with our customers and believe it is our responsibility to address situations like this openly. To inform future visitors to Cyprus who may consider booking transportation services with us or other companies, we plan to publicly share this incident and our response, demonstrating our dedication to service excellence. Our motto remains: “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
