Not a swiss oriented program where you would expect to receive the correct guidelines to pass a certification. The course I followed payed more than 3k CHF over 5 days was simply resuming a book of 400 pages, 60 technics in short 5 days. So as a result, I had to spend 30 full days discovering the certificate and the real approach to get it. If there would a second experience, I would skip IT Academy, save 5k chf and focus on the book alone.

Gary Handley from IT Training academy is an excellent trainer. His experience is self evident. He conveys even the most intricate elements of the methodology using practical techniques that ensure that everyone has a well versed understanding prior to taking the exam.

The course was well structured and provided me with the knowledge I needed to gain the certification and more importantly to translate these elements into my day job.

The course was very well run by our trainer Gary Handley. He let the course flow and adapted the content to suit our industry and real life experiences. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting a through understanding and over view of the role of the Product Owner in Scrum.

I took this course recently and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The ISTQB Certified Tester course was just the right amount of time. The three days allotted for this test was exactly what I needed to master the material. As a software developer, this is a topic that is extremely practical, and I know that this knowledge will help me in my career—both at my current job and future career moves. This is something I see more and more employers including as key skills. I now have the familiarity to execute tests and understand the results and use the different testing tools with confidence. This course definitely covers everything that there is to know on the subject, and was well organized.

The trainer for this course was great; they were extremely knowledgeable, and while this isn't the most exciting topic ever, they managed to make it engaging and interesting. You could tell that they know the topic extremely well. They were quite clear and ensured that everyone followed the instruction. I never felt like I couldn't ask questions. I would definitely consider taking another course with this trainer.

I recently took a Scrum Product Owner course with Gary Handley
, and would like to take a minute to share my feedback on the course,the methods portrayed, content and the subsequent outcome of this course!

From the get-go I think it is fair to say that the passion shown in the delivery of the course and the practical involvement from the opening stages, allowed me to realise that I had made the correct choice in choosing this course and company!

Though-out the course we focused on the methodologies of scum whilst incorporating both theoretical and practical examples into our learning, with some good working examples. I felt this gave the course a depth that is hard to find and is therefore testament to the trainer of the course (Gary Handley).

During the course and being new to Scrum I had multiple questions or challenges that were raised, and it is through the years of experience in these methodologies of Gary that I found the answers. Even the most obscure of questions (in my mind) were met with a well rounded, researched and lived answer!

Therefore in conclusion it is with great pleasure that I can say I am now Product Owner for a huge multi-national project, practicing the scrum methodology on a daily basis. And the foundation of my understanding for this was definately gained from the training I received from this company!

I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of following a similar path the get in touch and book them selves on a course asap!
