I had a very bad experience with iSTORE and the Iphone 12 purchased from them.
On 25 november 2023, I purchased an iPhone 12 (128GB) from iSTORE, which functioned adequately for about seven months before experiencing significant battery issues. Eventually, the device became unusable. Concerned about the matter, I contacted iSTORE on June 16, 2024, as I was preparing for a longer vacation outside Denmark. Given that their service location is not in Aarhus, I attempted to have the phone repaired locally. However, I was informed by an iPhone representative that my device was a counterfeit and not intended for the Danish market, but rather for South Africa.
Despite my efforts to reach iSTORE via phone and email, responses were not happening via phone but eventually, I managed to get in touch with them via email, and after expressing my lack of trust in their ability to resolve the issue, I requested a refund instead of a repair as I could not trust the store anymore. I sent the broken phone to them in August, post-vacation (they paid the transport, luckily).
Regrettably, since sending the phone on August 15, 2024, I received just a confirmation that they received my phone but I have not received any replies to my numerous emails afterwards asking to solve this issue in a diplomatic and nice way—many attempts to communicate with them. While I understand that the device is still under warranty, I no longer wish to pursue a repair with a company I cannot trust so, I wanted a refund but now, they have the phone an my money. I really wanted to solve this in a simpler and easy way but it was not possible.
