I tried to fill in the 'Online Will' form but the process keeps 'freezing' and there is no help facility to establish why the process has stalled. So if I'm making a mistake, I cannot identify what is wrong. I think they need serious IT help to make the process run smoother.
I paid for a will kit on the website 5 days ago. I was unable to download nor did i receive an email from them with a link. In fact despite two more emails from me to the web address i have heard nothing. It makes the site feel like a fraudulent one although in reading other emails this seems not to be the case. Either they are incredibly inefficient or downright dishonest. I will be contacting my credit card providor to advise them to recover the funds paid.
I completed my document with Irishwills, the document was made available immediately. I required some corrections to be made to the document such as misspellings and an edit of one of the clause. Their customer support team was available straight away and worked with me until I had the document drafted the way I wanted. Overall its a great service, quick, efficient and saved money over using a solicitor.
I filled in all the details to create a bespoke online will. I then proceeded to purchase it but there was no option to download it after payment was taken. Essentially, I paid for a product that was not delivered. There was no message on the web site after my purchase to explain why the product was not available for download. On the contrary, the web site informed me that the order was successful and the product would be available immediately.
I sent three emails over the course of two days to complain and only on day three did I get a response with a link to download the will. There was no apology in the response.
In the end, I got the product and it seems reasonable but the experience is overcast by the faulty checkout process and poor customer service. It is completely unacceptable to take payment for a digital product and not provide it until the customer registers a complaint and three days later to boot.
As such, I would not recommend paying for this service.
