The website makes it look like the IQ test is free, payment is never mentioned, but AFTER you take the test, the full result is hidden behind a paywall AND they force you to make an account just to see your score. You do get your score for free though, but ONLY after creating an account with your email. I recommend using a spam mail address or just using a different site. Clearly misleading and exploitative practices.

The 1 star reviewers jumped the gun on IQtest.com.
After the test, YOUR SCORE IS SENT TO YOUR EMAIL FOR FREE!!! The one star commenters should rescind their ratings and I think this is for once unjustifiable. IQtest has done everything they promised and I quite enjoyed it.
However, IQtest should make this more clear in the beginning.
Yes they ask you to pay for your IQ PROFILE.

I felt the test was comprehensive
I felt the test was comprehensive and was in line with my previous known IQ range, I scored 124 on this one, and from memory, I scored in my high teens many, many, years ago.
Of course, an online test may not be as accurate as a real face-to-face test but everyone should know that before they start it.
It did raise my eyebrows when the website asked me for 16 USD for the more advanced report which is about £12 but I was happy to pay for the report.
I received my FREE IQ score report by email almost immediately, so the website did what said on the tin and provided me with what I initially wanted for FREE.
I only gave a review of 4 stars and not 5 for the cheeky upsell which wasn't disclosed before I took the test. Generally Happy.

When I entered this website, I immediately felt something was off. As I proceeded through the IQ test, it prompted several questions that did not even have correct grammar, and even at the end, it prompted me to pay. This has heavily disappointed me due to the fact the scores may be inaccurately graded due to the likeliness the creator doesn't understand basic English, and that you'd think you'd get it for free.

As is plainly stated on the site, the test is designed for native English speakers at least 16 years old. If you do not speak English fluently, you will get a more accurate analysis of your IQ if you take a test in your native language.

I'm OK paying for the comprehensive explanation. I wouldn't expect people to go to the trouble of creating the test and a website for a zero return. We all eat!
The questions were straightforward and made good sense. I have always wondered if I was behind the curve because I was tested in grammar school because they thought I was challenged, and the results indicated I was above average. They had no clue back then about what to do with kids that didn't want to conform.
Today's test, at 75 years old, supports that earlier finding. Today, my score was 106. It would have been better if I didn't take too much time, although I still was .56 faster than the average takers of this test.
I did well above others in some areas, like Spelling 128. Short-term memory was not much higher at 108 than the overall score, but at 75, I'm happy I have a short-term memory! Arithmetic 115. I used math a lot in my business. The bottom line is it's nice to know I'm not as dumb as I have been led to believe.
No, I won't be framing the certificate!

Just call the number on the back of your credit card and explain that you did not authorize that charge. The bank will know who charged you and will be able to give you a refund.

Don't listen to the people saying it's a scam, you can get your IQ for free (it emails you it), you just have to pay to get a full comprehensive explanation.
Some people were complaining how their IQs seemed too high and that the test must be inaccurate, however there is for sure an element of survivorship bias. All the smartest people actually managed to find their IQ scores (casual flexing)
I scored 125+ on a previous website (test only went to that) this gave me 131 so it seems at least remotely accurate to me.

That was funny.. waste 20 minutes of your life to then be presented with a $15 fee to obtain your IQ.. really no need, if you fell for that one, I can personally attest your IQ is pretty low paaahaaha

$12 is not free
I Googled "free IQ test", this site came up with description "This free, certified IQ Test....". I took the test, on completion I was asked for name and email, the next page asked for $12 to generate my report. Very slimy.
Anyone with any IQ can see that if it costs $12 then it's not free.
You're better off going to MENSA's web page, they're reputable.

What a scam! Advertises as a free IQ test which then prompts you to take it! After 21 minutes of all of that work and you hit submit it takes you right to a page that says you can access your score for $15! How infuriating! Don’t use this this site for your IQ test! You deserve to not only know your IQ for free but to also receive your test score for free after doing all that free work! For all the ones saying “use your common sense and check your email, end timer etc” I did. It’s not there. For those saying “it is free, you just have to pay $15 for a more comprehensive breakdown” IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT FREE…. are you dense? It’s not about the money, it’s the principle. Advertising something is free and then forcing someone to pay for their “free” results. It wastes people’s time. I could pay the $15 if I wanted to but I’m not in the habit of supporting companies who use manipulation tactics to get my money. Why would I support someone who takes me for a fool?
