I've been using iPlum for a few months, and it's one of the best VoIP apps I've tried, and I've tried a few. It's super user-friendly, even for someone who isn't very tech-savvy. What really stands out is the call reliability. I’ve never had a dropped call, and the connection stays strong whether I'm on Wi-Fi or mobile data. The audio quality is consistently clear, which is a big plus for my work-related calls.
Responsive VOIP Provider
I needed to switch VOIP with the demise of SKYPE. I contacted iPlum based on some initial checking around. I told them what I needed to do and they answered all my questions, including porting my number from Skype. The online support was very responsive (10 min to get an answer) and they professionally helped me through the process including a glitch with my payment. It was a great way to start a new service.

For example, if I have a text chat open and a new text comes through from that person, it gives me a "new text" notice but doesn't always update the chat that I am in unless I exit it and open it again. The "new text" alert message can also block other buttons/functions.

After some initial frustrations with the text approval process I contacted customer service and the gentleman on the phone was kind and helpful and things processed faster than anticipated after that. Lesson learned to reach out for support with iPlum. So far I am enjoying the separate ring tone for the iplum app from my personal number and everything I need to stay in touch with clients is easily accessible through the app. Clients just text and call without any app on their end. It is the easiest to use HIPPA compliant phone service I have had thus far (I've used 2 others previously).

The iPlum support team pulled off a last minute migration from Skype (which was EOL) and that was really important since it's a number I had been using for 15+ years. They've been fast to respond to other things we needed help with. Off to a great start!
Great for HIPAA complaint needs
I have really enjoyed using iPlum so far. The service is cheaper than others and the platform is easier to navigate.
Blackmailed by iplum after 3 years of advertising our business phone number
We were so excited when we got our company phone number (833) HAPPY FL! After 3 years of service and on time monthly payments our account was abruptly dissolved on the day that Iplum took our monthly payment and began blackmailing us for more and more money in order for us to try get our phone number back that is on our vehicles, our sales information, our business cards, are advertising, our websites, all of our social media, etc. They ignored our requests for clarification of why they would do this to us and kept sending us messages that we had to pay more and more money saying they would reinstate our account and every time we paid more money we realized it was a lie. At one point they said that they shut off our service because we initiated a chargeback. Obviously that is not true. We even consulted with our bank to make sure and they confirmed that there was no charge back and that Iplum was blackmailing us. Finally I just gave up because we had lost a lot of money and company time because we had been without a phone and unable to conduct business for over a week and Iplum was still telling us they would reinstate our phone if we just paid more money. We are now taking more money away from our business to try and remove the phone number from everything and contact all of our clients all over Florida and tell them what Iplum did to us explaining why we no longer have a phone and that is why we couldn't conduct business. Iplum is still messaging saying that they will give us our phone service back if we pay more money but we aren't going to do that. Instead, after we have calculated all the money we have lost from their unethical illegal business practices we will make sure we are compensated by iPlum for all of our losses. I would pick a different company for your phone service because it is very important for the future of your business that you only do business with ethical companies. Our phone number was very important to us and a big part of our company's brand. We are devastated that iplum did this!

As discussed, That is a 100% lie. Our phone service hadn't been working correctly for several days before you shut off our business's phone completely on June 5th and took my payment out of my account with no problems on the regular payment date June 6th. And per our agreement and the law, you are required to notify us in advance before you shut off our phone service halting business operations and giving us no way to access our account or retrieve our ongoing text message conversations or our saved voicemails and contacts; in addition to not being able to send or receive calls or texts from our current and perspective clients anymore.
And as discussed, you are responsible for all damages to my business and all costs incurred as a result of your unethical and illegal actions that you are coincidentally continuing to accumulate by fraudulently saying that our credit card was fraudulent.
Please refer to our last email refusing your offer, after you realized you would be unable to continue to extort more money from us, to refund us for all of the extra money you made us pay to try and keep our phone number while you were lying to us and saying that you would reinstate our account but instead kept demanding more money. We don't do business with unethical companies and you owe us a lot more money than that..

This is a very scary tool
This is a very scary tool. Looking at their charges, you would think that they are scammers. They really are.
They do not highlight the “TCR” registration matter on their website, even though it is a very important part of the tool.
Their pricing plan page mentions it in a very small font that you cannot easily notice.
Even more annoying and unfair is when they charge you every time you apply for “TCR” and “Uchase Case”. This is very unfair for this tool.
The tool charges very outrageously. So I discourage you from using it.
Use another tool instead.

I am kicking myself
I am kicking myself for subscribing to Iplum for a year before trying it out first. I took a leap of faith because I've heard from my colleagues that this is a good yet inexpensive phone service. I went ahead and paid for the year because I was porting my business number and it made sense at the time. But WOW! I have never gotten so many spam calls in my life. Other times, I get phone calls but there is no one on the other line. This has turned out to be a nightmare. Now I can't tell if there is an actual client trying to reach me or if it's just a spammer checking the number. Very disappointing and of course there is no refunding by Iplum so I'm stuck paying for this terrible service for another year. If you're not into spam, I would stay away from this company.
