Domains ordered at this advertised super discount 1€/yr, now they blocked it for "security"-reasons saying i have to call customer support. After 2 consecutive days of calling support and getting told they will forward this and i will get unblocked soon, still nothing. this is third day now and i need my domain. So much time wasted... They did refund everything.

Great support! I needed a new domain and email account for rebranding, but at the same time keeping my old email account and switching the old website to my new domain. The employee could help me in any case, she was friendly and patient. She could answer every question I had and I felt in really good hands!

I contacted IONUS at the last quarter of 2025, because I was looking to create a website with a blog and online store. I wanted a simplistic and basic website.

They told me they would help me create a website and hosting domain platform. I was informed that there was a six months promotional deal that cost £1 monthly. A contract was set up for this purpose.

Rather than set up the website for me. Every time I contacted IONUS they tend to want to switch me from a website type known as Word Press to E-commerce. They kept switching between both domain types every time I called to get my website set up.

Meanwhile, in the midst of the confusion of Word Press or E-commerce, IONUS talked me into paying more money for official email addresses. I started paying about £5 every month instead of the original payment of £1. I have never seen the emails though.

It's about six months now, still no website created, whilst I pay £5 plus every month, for a website and email that is clearly non existent.

On Monday, 9th February, IONUS withdrew £37.80 from my account without contacting me, before and after the withdrawal. I was sort of disconcerted by this behaviour.

When I contacted them on Tuesday, 10th, they said, the payment is a renewal fee for my E-commerce website. When I informed the telephone operator that I wasn't contacted before withdrawal of the money, he then sald he would raise a ticket for my complaint to be investigated.

I requested that they must refund the £37.80, before any renewal discussions. They have refused to refund my money but emailed me on Friday, 13th February, that they will give me a discount for one year. I am not sure what this discount is about, I don't need a discount from IONUS. I just need them to compulsorily refund my £37.80, which was wrongfully taken from my bank account.

One of the company's telephone operators on Friday, 13th February, informed me that the £37.80 is an annual payment. Meanwhile, I received an email from IONUS stating that the payment is a monthly subscription.

This is appearing to me as fraud. I have reported IONUS to Report Fraud (formerly Action Fraud) and the Anti-fraud department of Halifax Bank.

I just would advise the public to be careful whilst dealing with companies like IONUS, Etoro and Trade 212.

I just received the funniest and disingenuous reply that claims to be IONUS Germany.

Why can't IONUS Germany contact IONUS UK, in a case that has to do with publicly discrediting their company for an obvious case of fraud.

My interaction with IONUS especially between Tuesday, 10th to reading this mischievious reply from a so called IONUS Germany, proves clearly that IONUS is a dubious company.

Dialed the support number in order to have a domain problem solved (as a non-costumer). Support member clarified,solved and additionally guided me through the process. That is why I became a customer with my small business right away. Reported call should be used in a training. That was an employee any company could only wish for. Excellent service! Boss, give him a raise!

I had a positive experience with this service. The support was fast, and the website was decent compared to other German services. I recommend it!

I purchased a Plan Jan 31 But it's been 2 weeks and I didn't get confirmation Email.
When Contacted through email, replaying with same copy paste messages.
When contacted through call, The waiting time is around 30-40 minutes and after waiting for 30 minutes, they disconnect the call.

Service was absolutely Great! If you got a Problem a worker will immediately help you. My Problem was solved very fast!

I am very thankfull for the service of IONOS. Working on the website is very clear and if we need support for anything, this is done very well by a phonecall with the IONOS service.

Ionos is trying to generate additional business by instilling fear, and I don't like that at all. They should be ashamed of themselves.
