Not worth the paper it's printed on

A company accredited by Investors in People has failed to deal with disability‑related issues and Ofgem compliance failures since 14 October 2025, and I am still awaiting a response. If this is the standard IiP endorses, the accreditation appears to offer no meaningful assurance to customers or disabled individuals seeking fair treatment.

Ruthless, deceptive single minded selling machine. Not to be trusted.

To think this company is supposed to set the standard for investing in people is absolutely shocking. They invest in nobody but themselves.

I went on their website to download the investor in people framework and clicked on the "download" button. The problem is I did not receive a copy of the framework as I was expecting, I got a sales called from a woman who still works there in February 2024 and since been promoted instead.

When I pointed out to her that I did not ask for a sales call and wanted the document instead she became defensive, justifying her decision to call still trying to manipulate me into believing it was for my benefit. I asked if she would send me the framework I thought I had downloaded and she said she would only if I answered some sales questions. I became angry and asked her if this was an intentional trick they played on people to increase sales and she laughed down the phone at me so I put the phone down.

I then called her back after a few moments to ask her for the details of her data protection officer as I wanted to make a complaint but she said she did not know who that was, so I asked her who her Supervisor or Manager was and she refused to give them details over the phone either but said she would send me an email later.

A while later she sent me an email making it clear she worked in sales from her job title on her email signature, still trying to sell their product to me and copied her Manager in in case I wanted to make a complaint.

I responded by asking for a copy of their complaints policy and her Manager, The Head of Commercial replied with a generic two liner asking me to write the details of the complaint to her. I asked her if she was refusing to send me a copy of the complaints policy and she ignored that but repeated what she had said in the previous email. I asked her if the complaints policy included timescales by which the complaint would be handled and details of any escalation or appeals processes and she again avoided the question. I repeated the question again and she replied by just saying "yes", nothing else in the email. I asked her if she could provide those details to me and she flat out refused to tell me what they are. I asked her to clarify it as I was finding it difficult to believe an organisation would have a complaints policy which allowed for appeals and escalations but refused to make complainants aware of it and she still refused to send it saying she would give me the details once I registered a complaint. To think this is a company that professes to invest in people is a real shocker. They are ruthless single minded selling machine just looking to take peoples money off them.

We are now in February 2024 and they've tried to get Trust Pilot to take this review down. The corporate PR machine that is driving this "company" forward is well and truly working overtime.
