I received a (probably) automated email…

I received a (probably) automated email reply very quickly about what model my Bose Sounddock was based on the serial number. The email also included some comprehensive sales information about what upgrades were available and links to YouTube self help videos. However I didn't receive any reply to my further queries about which upgrade was suitable for my needs. On their website they say that Invebo is the trading name for Button Brand Ltd and when you check the company details onlinevthey have applied to go into voluntary liquidation (they are solvent). So it looks as though the owners are retiring and maybe have been unable to sell their business as a going concern. Which is a shame, but I don't think that they are doing potential customers any favours by retaining their website as is (apart from you not being able to order anything). They should have a banner on the home page indicating that they are in the process of closing (or whatever their plans are) so customers know where they stand.

Is Invebo Still Operating?

I want to send my unit for repairs and upgrade. They answered several questions by email in Dec 2025, but they didn't have the parts needed . They said the parts were expected in March, so I decided to wait. I've sent two messages recently asking if the parts have arrived, one a message via their website and another by email. I have had no reply to either. I am wondering if they are still operating.

If you want to lose money...

Sent some parts for repair, took 2 years for a dead neighbor for it to arrive to them.
After that, they said it was repaired, paid an invoice.
They stopped answering my emails, never answered my calls.
I don't know what else to do.

There are still miracles.

My 15-year-old Bose Original Sound Dock broke down about seven years ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a repair shop in Budapest to repair it, but I still had hope. Then, at the end of 2025, I was about to throw the device away, but I made one more attempt and searched the Internet to see if I could find a solution to troubleshooting the device that charges the iPod but doesn't play. And as luck would have it, I found Invebo, whose YouTube videos helped me narrow down the problem part, the sound processor. After that, I contacted the company by email and, according to the instructions I received, sent them the removed part by post, and they informed me by email about its arrival, repair, and return after payment of the invoice. After installing the repaired unit, the Bose sounds like new again. It's good that there is still a place in the world (England) where they still deal with saving such technical antiques. All my appreciation and thanks to Invebo.

Perfect Experience

This company is an amazing find! My Bose Sounddock 10 failed from a power surge after an electric outage. After looking for possible solutions online, I stumbled upon Invebo. They had posted an excellent, comprehensive video showing how to do some basic troubleshooting, followed by a detailed description of how to disassemble the unit without doing additional damage.

After I removed the power supply board, I followed more of Invebo's instructions to package it up and ship it to them for a fixed-price repair. Because I live in Western Canada I was concerned that the mail would be slow and unreliable, but in fact my circuit board arrived at Invebo's location in England less than 2 weeks after I mailed it, which included the New Year holiday period. Beware that Canada Post's lowest rate without tracking was $42.

Just two business days after receiving my circuit board, Invebo had repaired and shipped it back to me - it arrived at my home 6 days after shipping.

Following another excellent Invebo video, I was able to reassemble my unit again without causing further damage, and I am delighted to say that it works perfectly!

Invebo's communications are a little spotty, but I believe they have tried to put all the required information on their website and that they are a group of dedicated enthusiasts who just want to provide quality service and turn jobs around efficiently.

I can thoroughly recommend Invebo without hesitation.

Best sound quality ever

Hi Invebo Team,

I would just like to give a big "Thank You" to all the Team at Invebo for there exemplary service and repair work on my old Bose Docking Station System.

It's fantastic to hear this sound system quality in operation again after 8 years, stored in a cupboard due to faults, the upgrade to Bluetooth is exceptional quality.

My ears thank you too 🙂

Gone bust?

Incorrect mailing instructions sent by the company, Freepost not included. No reply to any messages sent. The customer contact number was disconnected, new number (mobile this time) appeared on the webpage and now this appears disconnected too. Paypal link in website wouldn't work.

Outstanding Service deserves to be recognised.

Had a faulty sound processor on my Bose Sound Dock Series 1. Sent it to Invebo and it was lost in the post and delivered to the wrong address. They went out of their way to find it, repair and return in a very quick turnaround. I never do reviews but this company were outstanding and deserve to be successful. Thanks to you all for your help.

So far, terrible customer service and follow-up.

For example: they have had the module for +30 days, they say to watch for VEBOTrax for updates and status...no updates and no response to email inquiries.

It appears from postings and reviews on their FB, EBay, X (Twitter), etc...that they might no longer be in business. Do your due diligence.

Soundock 10 SD10HD Module

Just when I was about to give my Soundock 10 away, I came across the Invebo module on YouTube and decided to give it a go. I finally recieved my SD10HD combination module for my Soundock 10. I ordered the combo option with the computer module and bracket pre-installed as I am not handy (although the video provided on Youtube was very well explained). After installing, all I can say is wow, wow, wow! Bluetooth connection was flawless with long range, operation of use is easy and sound is just out of this world. It has brought my old sounddock 10 back to life. Matter of fact, the system now sounds better than all of my newer Bose model players. Best purchase I have made. If you are hesistent and skeptical like me about ordering, just make the purchase...it's that good! The product is great (sound and build quality), the company and it's support team (Ed especially) are fantastic. I live in Toronto Canada and everytime I contacted them, Ed not only promptly responded but is very detailed in his explanation. He guided me through any concerns or questioned I had, and I had a lot lol. Thank you Invebo, your team and especially Ed for producing great products and making this purchasing experience a fantastic one. Best wishes for 2025!

Great service from this company

Great service from this company. My SoundDock series II stopped working a while ago. I could still use it by attaching to the input at the back but not through the 30 pin at the front. This meant that I couldn't keep my iPod classic charged whilst using it. I order the replacement board prior to Christmas but this didn't arrive. I contacted Invebo who stated that it appears to have been lost by Royal Mail and they immediately sent a replacement unit. This was easy to replace by watching the videos. I have to say that they are one of the best instruction videos that I have seen. I have now got a workable unit to play my iPod Classics through. Excellent service from Invebo and I would highly recommend them

Exceptional service…….

I moved home and my original Bose Sound Dock stopped working….just no sound but it had power to charge my iPod. I had already purchased some potential repair pieces and a new remote from EBay. I took unit apart, sent circuit board off for repair to EBay man but then stupidly, couldn’t recall how to reassemble it or more to the point see how to connect the ribbon cables etc..(cataracts need doing plus I forget how old I am and how technology has swerved over my head)! So, here I am with my Bose in pieces, annoyed I can’t listen to my playlists on iPod and searching You Tube for a solution when I found some brilliant videos from INVEBO. What a lucky find…..
Their customer services had infinite patience with me asking loads of stupid questions before finally sending off for a full service and put together. I was kept informed all the way through this process via email and the whole Bose unit came back fully tested, in working order and in very quick time before Christmas.
So wished I’d found them before trusting EBay man and paying for unnecessary kit etc but you learn by your mistakes, even at my age ! lol
I can’t thank Invebo enough, excellent service, what they don’t know about Bose Systems is probably not worth knowing and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
They also contacted me yesterday to make sure everything was working okay !
I can’t recommend them highly enough….especially with so many scams and ‘dodgy’ companies around these days…..well done Invebo and you certainly deserve all the excellent reviews on here….Happy Days x

EXCELLENT SERVICE

My SoundDock suddenly died and despite getting another, it just did not have have the same depth of sound. I happened upon Invebo and the repaired the module, but I still did not have full functionality. They supported me throughout, and finally a replacement ribbon cured the problem. Absolutely excellent support, and highly recommended.

Saved my Bose Sound Dock

Found invebo.com by accident, really. Our Bose Sound Dock had been inop for years, and my inner cheapskate (outer one, too) refused to throw it away. When new, the Sound Dock was fully the equal of much larger systems, with the side benefit of a quality, solid feel and smart design.

After watching the invebo.com videos, which are excellent and straight to the point, I extracted the faulty bits and sent them for exchange. Even counting the overseas part (they are in UK) the parts were back in a few weeks, and in less than an hour, not only was my treasured Sound Dock alive again, it was sreaming content from my iPhone like it was designed that way.

It seems very boomer to be attached to an inanimate object like a Sound Dock but it was an anniversary gift that accompanied our family on many summers and provided us with a lot of enjoyment. Our world is awash in lighweight, throw-away crap, and even my treasured Apple products no longer have that solid, made-to-last feel like the early models . Thanks to invebo.com, though, our Sound Dock is still singing.

Once more, simply outstanding

Once more I find myself writing about the outstanding quality and service from the team at Invebo. This time it's to do with an overall service / repair and Bluetooth upgrade to my Bose Series 1 SoundDock.
Put quite simply, what these guys don't know about SoundDocks isn't worth knowing... although I don't think there IS anything they don't know! In addition, their bespoke products and upgrades are of exceptional quality, with service support to match. Great videos, too. Don't be tempted to go anywhere else or buy anything less. Thanks to Ed, Laura and Liam - keep up the great work.

I have just received my Bose SoundDock…

I have just received my Bose SoundDock back from repair by Invebo, the service was excellent. They promised the return three days after receipt and they were spot on.
If only other companies could be as professional as you, the world would be a better place.

Very slow coms or no longer trading?

This company seems to have a good reputation but paid for a repair to be done more than a week ago and still waiting for instructions on where to send my circuit board.

Sent messages on their web site and to the mail attached to payment confirmation and called the phone number on their site a few times but non answer or reply to anything...

Have these guys gone under?
