Lorna was smashing - so pro-active and friendly and very clear with information and next steps. This is a long time coming and I'm so happy that In Touch Accounting are staying true to it's name once again.

Since joining Intouch Accounting

Since joining Intouch Accounting, my confidence in managing my accounts has improved dramatically. I now have a clear understanding of my finances and much better control. What truly makes their service outstanding is the excellent communication and the ongoing support they provide with every question I have.
When I first joined, the lovely Wendy was incredibly supportive and reassuring with my worries about setting up a limited company. She made the whole process feel simple and stress-free.
More recently, I would like to express huge gratitude to Stephen Dando. Not only has he expertly handled my accounting, but he also worked closely with Intouch’s fantastic in-house mortgage team. On several occasions, I hit a wall with my mortgage accounting requirements, yet Stephen was outstanding — always responsive, taking calls, and turning around requests at very short notice.
As a result, I am now a homeowner as well as a confident business owner. A huge transformation in the space of just one year, thanks to Stephen! Highly recommend Intouch Accounting.

After my first 1star review

After my first 1star review, Intouch accounting did an internal review of what went wrong.
They haven’t fixed anything but at least they acknowledged that the service provided was not suited to a small Ltd company who wanted a personal service and the best advice for saving on tax ! Instead I paid maximum corporate tax, maximum personal tax and a late filing fee!!
Please avoid unless you have good knowledge of tax ( which I thought was the point of an accountant!)

Highly recommend!

My onboarding experience with Brookson accountancy has been extremely smooth and positive. Tina in particular was super at taking me through everything I may need to know, no jargon and no question too silly to ask! It has helped me enormously and I would highly recommend to anyone seeking clear cut accountancy advice for a stress free set up!

Just don't do it

Just don't do it. Intouch were very good when I first joined them a few years ago, and then since then they have absolutely lost the plot. Nothing ever gets done in a timely manner, you have to chase for anything to happen and it's an absolute nightmare. I've received multiple fines for failings on their part that any decent accountants would be embarrassed about. Now I'm trying to close down my company and basic questions are not being answered and it's a constant headache. I should have moved from them years ago but didn't because of the hassle and it's continued to haunt me until now. I can't wait for the company to be closed down so I don't have to deal with this company any longer.

Stephen is great, new people - the opposite

This rating is specifically for Stephen Dando, not for the entire Intouch Accounting as it has become after being acquired by Brookson. Stephen has always been a great help when it comes to accounting. He is one of the few original Intouch people who knows the job from 'A' to 'Z' and cares about his customers. He is one reason I stayed with Intouch after the acquisition. Once again he has corrected a tax return document that was produced by one of his much more junior, I presume, colleagues and that was completely wrong. The ticket triaging system is very poorly built as well. My request for correction was sitting in the inbox of one of the more junior staff members for 2 weeks prior to it being passed to Stephen.

I couldn't be happier with the service…

I couldn't be happier with the service I receive from Stephen and his team. Stephen is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly. I really appreciate his consistent follow-up - whether we've spoken by email or phone, he always comes back to ensure everything is resolved. Even in situations I've had conversation with other (very helpful too) team members, he makes sure to respond personally once he receives the message.

Beyond his responsiveness, I'm impressed by the proactive way Stephen manages my accounts. He stays on top of all compliance requirements, guides me through necessary processes, and handles much of the work himself. All the challenging but required tasks are always done by him to free me and my time. I also never have to worry about missing deadlines or overlooking important details - he initiates everything that needs doing and keeps me informed every step of the way.

Stephen also goes the extra mile when I have complex questions, researching thoroughly to provide clear, accurate answers. It's rare to find an accountant who is this available, reliable, and trustworthy. Due to his great work I am highly recommending his services and consider him more of a partner who is having my back in my business rather than me being just his client. My company accounts are in safe hands, and that peace of mind is invaluable.

Excellent Onboarding

In starting up a new Ltd company earlier this year through Intouch, I had the pleasure of dealing with Danielle Read as part on the onboarding process. From our first call Danielle was fantastic with me, doing the onboarding at a nice gradual pace with well-structured calls and was always happy to help me with anything I was unsure about within the 'Connect' portal. She is very personable and I genuinely enjoyed our calls. I feel lucky to have had Danielle guide me through the onboarding process.

Appalling service — avoid at all costs

Discovered my accountant had left weeks ago — no one told me, no replacement assigned. When my FreeAgent access later stopped working, Intouch refused to help, even when I offered to keep paying them.

Unfriendly, unhelpful, and indifferent. They left my business high and dry. I’d avoid them completely.

Good all around service and value for…

Good all around service and value for money!

Stephen has been very helpful from the start and advised individually and been responsive and helpful whenever I've had a specific query. I feel him and the team are competent and tailor their advise to my needs, feel in good hands, thanks.

The back office team is generally helpful, sometimes turn-around times of admin and ongoing activities seem to vary but with a general 'catch all' contact point in addition to personal/specific personnel and my assigned and very good Accountants team overall a good arrangement which addresses all my ongoing needs for my business and for a reasonable fee manages all aspect. The portal/accounting platform that is used and forms part of the offering is useful, does take some getting used to though.

On-boarding is supported by an appointed contact and a structured initiation phase which supports the transition and allows for any questions and concerns to be addressed swiftly. I've now been with Intouch for around two months and happy so far.

Happy to recommend!
