The quote was timely, but received a cheaper quote with more services included.

All very efficient - filled out the form and then heard from a number of shipping companies within a day. Got a phone call of one or two, who then sent a quotation free of charge the same day. Decided on one of the companies and they took over the packing and shipping from there. Great to find a helpful website... thanks Intlmovers.com ;)

Didn't want to fill in lots of individual forms with all of our items, so just wrote a generic request for a shipping quote with a container.

Packing is very professionnal under supervision to ease the retrieval of your items. However our bed frame was slightly damage and chairs got dirty

Yes - it works. I received multiple quotes from reputable companies. I sought to move furniture from Shanghai to the US. With a few days, several companies responded. A couple asked for more specific information or clarification; each company's rep identified himself or herself. The service is oriented to whole-household moves, usually as a corporate expense. Thus, they are not cheap, but they are professional. (Only one quote seemed wildly overpriced.) One company provided a detailed breakdown of all the costs, while others were more general. International moving is a learning exercises; there's a lot to consider and a lot to know. The average person needs a moving company that's done it before. I would use Intlmovers.com again.
