Cheap price, zero service - avoid

I booked a car via AutoEurope from Interent at Lisbon Airport. They refused to take my Visa card because it was a debit not credit card. My Amex card no good either. They would give me the full insurance option for another 200+ euros and take my Visa card for that. They could not give me the option for the toll roads as that again was a credit card thing. They told me to drive around Portugal on B roads and avoid tolls ! In the end I went to National Car Rentals and paid for a new rental car. No problem with my visa debit card, Amex no problem. So I learnt a lesson : never go for the cheap option with Interent. Spend a little more and get quality service. This was not my first problem with Interent but it will be my last. My advice stay away from them, they may be cheap but there's a reason for that !

Don’t do it

Don’t do it ! I rent a car for a week in Tenerife . On 13 october i return the car to an agent and he said that i will receive my money in max 1 month. Is 2 nd January and I still didn’t receive it yet. I need to mention that car was in perfect condition with full fuel and everything was fine .They don’t have customer care on phone,just on email. You need to wait 2 weeks for reply . So don’t rent it !

Eigentlich war … / In the Beginning

Eigentlich war der Preis zunächst guenstig, für 9 Tage 87, - Euro, und so locken sie ihre Kunden. Aber dann lügt mich der Angestellte bei Interrent in Porto an und sagt, das Upgrade würde 15, - Euro kosten. Das Angebot nahm ich an. Weniger spaeter stellte ich fest, dass Interrent von meiner Visacard 166,- Euro abbuchte (sie berechneten 15,- Euro / Tag plus 23% Mehrwertsteuer). Als ich das Auto zurückgab, buchte Interrent noch am selben Tag von meiner Visacard weitere 60,70 Euro ohne Rechnung oder Mitteilung ab. Meine folgenden E-Mails daraufhin blieben unbeantwortet, bis ich dann endlich anrief. Da erklärte mir jemand am Telefon, dass dies die Mautgebühren seien. Der Verkäufer hatte also erneut gelogen, indem er sagte, 1,50 Euro wäre die Pauschale für die Nutzung der Via Verde in Portugal. Die Realität war, dass diese 1,50 Euro / Tag nur die Gebühr für die Anmietung des Gerätes für die Via Verde waren. Dann fragte ich nach einer Rechnung, was weitere 3 Wochen in Anspruch nahm, und der Rechnungsbetrag war immer noch 7, - Euro niedriger als der Betrag, den sie von meiner Visavcard abgezogen hatten (Servicegebühr?). So wurde ich von Interrent von 226,70 Euro betrogen und alle Beschwerden wurden unbeantwortet oder abgelehnt.

Actually the price was initially reasonable, for 9 days 87,- Euro, and that’s how they lure their customer. But then the sales person at Interrent in Porto lied by saying the upgrade would be 15,- Euro. Interrent took off my visacard 166,- Euro (they charged 15,- Euro / day plus 23 % VAT). When I returned the car, the same day Interrent took off my Visacard another 60,70 Euro without any invoice or notice. My following emails were unanswered. Then, finally, somebody on the telephone explained me that this were the toll fees. The sales person had lied again by saying, 1,50 Euro would be the flat rate for using the Via Verde highways in Portugal. The reality was, that those 1,50 Euro / day was only the fee for renting the device for the Via Verde. Then I asked for an invoice, with lots of effort, because they didn’t answer my emails. Finally I got them on the telephone again, and the sending of an invoice took another 3 weeks. The amount on the invoice was still 7,- Euro lower than the one they took off of my Visacard (service charge ?). So I got cheated by Interrent of 226,70 Euro, and all complains were unanswered or rejected.

Not raccomanded! Very bad. PESSIMO!! Sconsigliato.

Experience with "interent" very very bad. They handed us the car 1 hour before without saying any conditions, then holding about 250 € for just 1 hour in advance, where we kindly asked if there were any other amounts to pay, of course reassuring that this could not happen. That is my word against them, but who would pay 250 € for just 1 hour of early advance request? Please come on..
And "ryanair" can not answer about that.

Esperienza con "interent" al quanto pessima. Ci hanno consegnato l'auto 1 ora prima senza aver informato sulle condizioni, quindi trattenendosi circa 250€ per 1 sola ora in anticipo dove avevamo gentilmente chiesto se ci fossero stati altri importi economici da pagare, ovviamente rassicurandoci che ciò non potesse accadere. La mia parola contro la loro, ma chi andrebbe a pagare 250€ per 1 ora di richiesta auto anticipata? Per favore..
Per concludere "ryanair" non può rispondere a quanto accaduto.

Customer Service

Email has been sent to Customer service dept ( 6 times ) and I have no reply whatsoever.
Showing total disrespect with customer concerns and requests.

Charged extra with no reason (Never get any money back)

After I have returned the car they have charged my credit card for an extra day.

I have complained about that via phone, personally in the pick up office and many times via email. Never even heard anything back from them (By phone and in the office they have just said they will inform some other persons.)

Even though I have shown them all the papers from car returning which says clearly that the car was returned 2 hours before it should be I have never get any of my money back. I haven't even get any answer or explanation about the situation.

I think this is completely unprofessional and wrong.

Its a mistake or whatever from their side, they should just apologise and return the money without any question after first complain. I would understand that. Mistakes happen. But after so much time (4 months), so many complains (at least 5 times) I haven't even heard from them back.

Really disappointed.

P.S. Pick up time is really slow (Specially considered that everything was done before via internet.)

Would Recommend

Easy to pick up and return car from Toulouse airport,, had a upgrade brand new car better than what I was expecting. Booked 2 cars and the other one was also a upgrade.
