  1. Leather Goods Store

Written by the company

Insignis Leathers is a bespoke leather goods studio based in England, producing handcrafted pieces built to last a lifetime. Every item is made by hand using traditional techniques and premium full-grain leathers, selected for quality, character, and longevity. We work without shortcuts- each piece is cut, stitched, dyed, and finished in-house, from first pattern to final edge. Our range includes wallets, cigar cases, valet trays, and accessories, with private commissions available for customers who want something made entirely to their specification. Whether that means a specific leather, a personalised detail, or a design that doesn't exist yet, we build it. We also work with businesses on corporate gifting, producing small batches of considered, handcrafted pieces that carry genuine weight. Nothing off a production line. Insignis was founded on a simple belief: that the things you carry and use every day should be worth keeping. British craft has a long tradition of making objects that outlast trends. Our work sits in that tradition: quietly made, honestly priced, and designed to improve with age. Every sale supports the Craft Legacy Initiative, our commitment to preserving and investing in British craft heritage for the next generation of makers. Insignis Leathers — bespoke leather goods studio, made in Britain.

Exceptional craftsmanship and attention…

Exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail

I commissioned Mike at Insignis Leather to create a small batch of elephant key rings to help raise extra funds for a charity night. Each key ring was beautifully handmade using grey Italian split leather, with a black steel post, lobster clasp and split ring.

What really stood out was the exceptional attention to detail. Every piece was finished to an extremely high standard, with each one supplied with its own provenance record and a personal note from the maker. The elegant packaging was another lovely touch and really added to the overall presentation.

The quality, care and craftsmanship that went into every individual piece were outstanding. Mike clearly takes great pride in his work, and it showed in every key ring. They were not only excellent fundraising items but also genuinely special little pieces that people were delighted to receive.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Insignis Leather to anyone looking for beautifully crafted, bespoke leather goods. Exceptional work from start to finish.
