My order arrived damaged and the replacement did too

I pre-ordered a book from Insight Editions directly, as I couldn't find it anywhere else at the time. It was sent to me internationally in a flimsy cardboard bag and ended up damaged because of that.

I contacted them and got the sorts of replies you would expect from an autocomplete suggestion, things like 'I'm sorry to hear that!' or 'We'll work to resolve this issue'.

They told me a replacement would be sent 2-3 days later but it took 2 and a half weeks to dispatch, and that was only after I sent multiple emails asking if it had dispatched, and for a tracking number. Most of these emails went unanswered or got a single line response to a paragraph or two that pointed out the problems I was having and that they weren't solving them.

The replacement was sent in the exact same manner as the first one and ended up just as damaged. I contacted them to let them know that, and how deeply unimpressed I was with the delivery and their communications which had now lasted over a month and didn't receive any reply other than an offer of a refund which I accepted and received.

Anyone thinking of ordering directly from Insight Editions should try and find what they want somewhere else first, or wait for it to be released elsewhere if it's a pre-order.

Zero Updates, Zero Communication

Placed a preorder for the The Art and Making of Arcane: Portfolio Edition 12/27/24. Was supposed to ship out at the end of February. The site shows the availability as is in stock, but have not received any updates for my order. Sent an email 03/03/25 to inquire about my order's status, no response. Sent a 2nd email a few days later on 03/06/25, no response. Used the "Get In Touch" form on the site to inquire about my order, again, no response. No responses after 3 tries to contact their customer service regarding my order, because of this I have issued a dispute with my credit card. Please don't order from Insight Editions.

Terrible Customer Service, Terrible Shipping

I preordered the Arcane artifact edition artbook, which was an expensive product. The problem i have now is that they somehow probably messed up my adress and now the package is in germany in the Lost & Found office of UPS (which is a terrible shipping company to begin with).
So i contact UPS and also Insight Editions, UPS somehow can't reply to me properly only telling me where it is and that i can't do anything without contacting the sender of the package. So i sent out 2 emails since i wasn't sure if they have received it. It's been almost 2 weeks and they haven't replied, i sent them several emails already and still no reply. I noticed this after i checked up my package. Insight edition sent me an email on the 23rd of January in which it said the product was shipped, but UPS tried to deliever it to the wrong adress on the 3rd of January.
I hope they will reply soon, since getting scammed of 600€ isn't a very good experience. Now after weeks i’m still waiting for them to reply

Terrible Experience, Awful Customer Service

Terrible Experience, awful customer service.
I pre-ordered an item five months ago, and now, more than two weeks after the item’s release, I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation, tracking information, or any meaningful updates. The lack of communication from the customer service team is extremely frustrating—they simply repeat that my order is "in process," which seems implausible given the extended delay. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend ordering from this company based on my experience.
