Awesome experience!

This was the first time my daughters and I went rafting. Demi made it very enjoyable. She was very personable and made the trip a lot of fun. She was very safety conscious and went over the rules many times. Once we were on the river we had a lot of fun and she was coaching us the whole time. I would definitely go back and would recommend them to anyone.

Rafting was an amazing experience and we all had a wonderful time. Our raft guide, Tony, was so awesome, very skilled and kept us safe. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Everything went smoothly for our rafting trip. The staff was fun and professional and cared about our safety. The trip itself was perfect. We rented wet suits, because the water was 45 degrees and the air about 70 degrees. The Arkansas River is a fun rafting river, I would recommend it to friends, and I would recommend Wilderness Aware to friends too.

We cannot say enough about the amazing experience with Wilderness Aware Rafting. From the first contact with Jody to the last adventure on the water with Tony our guide, the company was professional, thorough and detailed. We did the Inn to Inn and for those who want more than a 1 day experience on the river, this was the ultimate adventure on the water and then relaxing with friends and dinner in the evening at a wonderful B&B, Buffalo Peaks. Our guide Tony was extremely skilled and was able to take us through class 4 and 5 rapids with clear instruction for us and we all felt very safe and in control of the raft. I give Wilderness Aware my highest recommendation for a great rafting company. They may not be the biggest but they are the best.

We did the Brown's canyon full day trip. This was the first time my husband and I have ever gone white water rafting. We rafted down a different river, with a different guide and company the week before. I would not have wanted that guide for this trip. I can't say enough good things about our guide from Wilderness Aware for this trip. Her name is Demi. I was a little nervous about this trip until I met Demi. From the minute I met her, I felt safe and confident that we would have a good experience. Demi is professional, fun, alert, and aware. She communicates well. As we made it through the most notorious rapid in tact, I decided the next time we raft this river, we will request Demi to be our guide. By the end of the trip we were also very glad we had rented the full gear to wear on the boat. We had 2.5 mil neoprene vests and shorts of our own. We decided to rent the full booties, wetsuit and jacket from W.A.R. We would have been freezing if we had not! We were glad they prepared us well. We were chilly and tired at the end, but glad we opted for the full day experience. We will be back!

The equipment was top notch and all the guides were excellent! We rafted in high fast water class IV-V rapids and always felt we were in capable hands and safe.
This is our second experience with WAR and we would use them again.

I have rafted with Wilderness Aware a few time in AZ and most recently on the Arkansas River in CO. I've had nothing but good experiences each time. The staff is always professional, courteous and well trained. Safety is a top concern for these guys and when a few of us ended up in the drink going through some huge white water, the guides were instantly into action and got everyone back in the raft quickly and safely. These are my go to guys when it comes to white water rafting. If your rafting in CO, ask for Roscoe, his knowledge and humor made a great day even better!

We had a great experience with Wilderness Aware Rafting. We did a full day Browns Canyon/Numbers experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and safety was a priority.

Great river trip and really awesome guides and equipment. Glenn was great as our boat captain. Not only with his knowledge of the river but his fun whit and just a great guy. Both of our guides did a great job with getting us down the river safe and making sure we had some great food to eat and plenty of fun along the way. 5 stars for me.

This was my 5 th trip with the company over the last 25 years.
They are growing with their popularity and do a great job with customer service. What a thrilling experience with well rounded guides. Highly recommended for everybody !

Went on a rafting day trip with my wife and two adolescent kids, guide was really friendly and knowledgable. The event was well organized, we were adequately prepped and cared for before, during and after the event. Would love to come back and do it again!

First class all the way

My son and I enjoyed three days of rafting/camping with WA this past summer. The guides are top notch professionals on the water and fun to hang out with at camp (when they are not busy cooking). The camping locations were amazing. I brought along a fly rod and had great success fishing from the river bank. A great time was had by all and we plan to repeat this trip in the future.

I have rafted with Wilderness Aware on three different rivers over 20 years and they always put your safety first to make sure the trip is enjoyable...and it always is a terrific adventure!
