Had an amazing trip to Oqaatsut (Rodebay) with Jan. Jan is a local guide in Iluissat. Already before we met Jan you could tell that he really cared about your experience and was very flexible. He picked us up at our address and drove us to his boat. He equipped us with warm boots and jackets for the cold boat trip. When we arrived at Oqaatsut we were welcomed by a lot of locals who knew Jan. He showed us around and told us a lot of facts about the place. Before returning to Ilulissat he invited us on an additional fishing trip (free of cost). Nice and friendly as he is he even helped us cut out the cod we had cached when we returned home. We could not have had a better experience than with Jan.
