Beware of the username TheZook. This "supposedly" member will send messages and begin a chat leading to manipulation, lies, deceit and mental abuse. Save your sanity. Don't bother with this website. Full of fakes and inactive profiles with the very few that lie, deceit and manipulate. Why this is allowed...
I don't understand.

If I could give this website 0 stars I would. The problem is they won't accept my cancelation and they continue to deduct payment from my PayPal account every month, even though I have emailed them a cancelation email several times. I don't have a subscription with them so I am allowed to cancel at anytime. I then have to report them to my credit card as a fraudulent charge and provide the email I sent to them. This website needs to do better!

100% scam. It says there are hundreds of people online constantly but there are only a handful, literally less than 15 at any given time, NO filters applied. I signed up for one month which should have expired, but they have a sneaky renewal process. Just look at the chatroom for proof. Tumbleweeds. The admin are rude and unprofessional. Avoid, don't waste your money. Any messages you do get are likely fake, they lead you on, there's no way a 'paying member' would leave their account dormant for months on end. RUN RUN RUN.

Unfortunately all the negative reviews are correct. Lots of fake profiles that send you messages until you start paying.

This is a diabolical app, claims to be 100% free it's a con to draw you in, you have to pay for premium just to read the damn messages, there's people out there who can't afford premium but want to use the site but can't because you have to pay to send(I think) and read messages, and other things, hence why I never come to the site yes I'm registered but never come because I have to pay for it, I'm now seeking legal assistance to get my account deleted, a bill for all legal charges will be sent to ILYA to pay.

Nowhere on the site to cancel my membership. Emailed company on contact section with a 'message blocked' reply. Think this is a scam as not able to contact anyone.

Terrible customer service. I emailed customer service a few times with questions about payments and why they don't accept a paypal debit card however, they blocked my messages and blocked my enmail address now I am unable to send any emails to the site, my emails keep returning with a BLOCKED BY ILOVEYOURACCENT. Bad customer service and rude staff.

I won't come out and say scam , but I'm sorry to say I too experienced the messages that dry up once you become a member. And the hurricane of interest that turns into tumbleweeds.

As a woman, most guys on dating sites will immediately interact with you if you show
a modicum of interest. On ILYA if you did manage to get a response, you probably won't get another. Not usual. Especially if they send a flirt and you respond. What's the reason everyone doesn't continue to correspond

Also alleged Englishmen had weird syntax in correspondence and that just doesn't sit right with me. I deal with a lot of second language learners and THAT is the type of person who makes the type of syntax errors these Englishmen were making.

I managed to figure out how to stop being charged if you are using PayPal. Log in and find the last charge. Select it and you will see info, at the bottom will be a Automatic payment button. You have to switch it off. You will get an email from PayPal when you did it.

I was sad because it is hard to meet Brits in NYC and this seemed great. But guy after guy would flirt, message and then disappear. Everyone is always online but no one returns emails. One guy did return 2, maybe 3 messages. All a single line question,but he eventually ghosted too. Very disappointing.

I joined the site and although there appears to be a lot of members online, I didn't meet anyone seriously seeking to date. I wasn't too bothered by that but when I chose to leave the site, I was unable to delete my account. Instead I was advised to email admin who never responded to my numerous emails. I also tried to cancel my subscription via email as I was unable to successfully do it on the site. Neither worked and now my login doesn't work and I can't reset it but they continue to attempt to take my subscription via Paypal which I am disputing... There are better sites which operate a better system. I wouldn't recommend or use again!

Awful site. The person who run the site in rude.

I had an issue with auto payment which I wasn’t aware was on because I had actually been refunded from PayPal due to glitch, but the auto payment was kept on after my refund and I was charged again. I expressed my issue with the company and they got very rude, stopped responding to my email and just unprofessional.

Stay clear and save your money.

that absolutely crap your talking. You did nothing to help and I was never refunded by you . I never left the auto payment on, I had been refunded by PayPal and the auto payment should have been stopped but it wasn’t.
Look at all your poor reviews says a lot about how you run things.

A con! Loads of messages received as a standard member and then you upgrade (Pay) and they miraculously stop! No messages you send get read despite people being online?
Obviously multiple profiles who are actually admin reeling you in!
Avoid!

I never really had a whole lot of luck with this website. Not saying there aren’t genuine people there but they seemed few and far between. When I tried to cancel my account I couldn’t find any place to cancel or delete my profile. I followed the FAQ instructions and still no luck. Decided to try and email. No response. I have now emailed at least half a dozen times over the last few months and still get ZERO response from admin.

Paid $20.00 to sign up for the premium features, and was charged twice. I tried to contact customer service, and had no luck reaching anyone. So, I disputed the additional charge with Paypal. Then I realized that a lot of the accounts are fake, and they have fake accounts reach out to you to give you an incentive you upgrade your membership. I then read some of the reviews on here, and that confirmed my suspicions. So, I contacted them again, asking to be refunded the other $20.00 I had paid two days prior, because they were misleading their customers. They immediately deleted my entire account, and never refunded me. I wish there was a way to get proof that they have deleted all of my information on their end. I do not trust this site with my information, pictures, etc. This site is a complete scam, please trust the negative reviews!!! I also believe that the majority of the positive reviews are fake.

Iloveyouraccent.com is unfortunately largely a fraud. As you'll see mentioned in numerous other reviews, this is how it works. You'll sign up for free, get some flirts and messages, but you can't view the messages until you sign up for premium. Once you sign up, you'll see a short basic message, and also be able to message your flirts. You'll almost certainly get no reply, and you'll almost certainly never see those profiles online. I've messaged people to check if they are real, just asking them, and they don't reply. If you do this on "other sites" people give you a joking human reply as expected, for reference. I believe this site to be running a kind of fraud for good hearted suckers to pay into. Perhaps once upon a time it was a legitimate business, but out of desperation with a now small user base, they are circulating ghost and even fake profiles and automating flirts, while also clearly faking an initial message to get you to sign up! It's kind of outrageous. Please save yourself the money and the trouble, don't sign up. You'll read through a few nice profiles that sound too good to be true, and that's because they are. The site knows the formula to get a few suckers to part with money, and it goes without saying the site itself will not communicate with you if you try to contact them.

Edit, out of respect I have removed the name of a different site, and also should note that I have had the below reply on trust pilot, so the site pays attention to reviews, clearly. I hope this helps brings change, and an end to the tactics that are so clearly implemented, and I'm not alone on here with this opinion. There's no personal gain for me in leaving a bad review, however, people should know my experience. I also wouldn't put a real name into a dating website, full stop.

I would like to ask publicly, can iloveyouraccent.com assure me that every message and flirt sent are authentic? As this seems to be the basis of my issue, that I don't believe they are authentic the majority of the time, as have many others on here also noted.

Pretty shocked to see what others wrote, my experience was better than expected. My wife and I met on this site in 2019. I have yet to get to the UK because of Covid but we will get there soon.
No one asked me for money or tried to scam me into joining a porn site or whatever so I guess we were lucky or fate played a part but it worked. I had meant to write a review before but life got in the way, better to be late than never...... THanks to ILYA

Awful website. Fake profiles, no response from admin. Run--don't walk away from this site. It is an absolute scam. I'm trying to cancel my membership with them now and it is impossible.
I would be happy to send TrustPilot my horrific experience of this site. As for the pseudo--I'm not getting bombarded with fake emails from the likes of these scammers.

I was hopeful of meeting someone from over the pond. Naive possibly to believe this site is reputable. I first signed up in 2017 and I quickly received flirts and messages but I couldn’t reply to the messages until I was a subscribed member and paid. Once I’d done this I’d receive a message and then either the sender would not reply or would take days... slightly unusual for a dating site. I decided not to renew my subscription and then on the anniversary each year I’d get messages again to get me to sign back up which foolishly I did. I got wise this year and did my own research. How can there be 300 people online and you can only ever see max 50 people (male and female) yet be a paid premium member. Messages/flirts are thick and fast until you pay and then all contact dries up. Everyone you speak to being from all over USA are always in Florida (interesting as this is where this company is based) USA is a big country! When I asked to be deleted and refunded I was ignored. However when I changed my profile to reflect it as a fake site I got an email and was deleted immediately despite having paid in advance!!! A big fat fake of a company... steer clear if you want to meet someone genuine on the other side of the pond, save your money for a site with better morals and integrity!

I totally agree with all the negative reviews of this website experiencing the deceit of how this company works twice now over the course of a few years ,they must think people are stupid as normal conversation doesn't work like this, yes at first a flirt shows interest then a couple of lines of how are you, but never once (on both occasions) did any of the ladies ever enter into any real conversation or swap contact details, days go by without any contact whatsoever ,its so out of character people don't behave this way on dating sites , it's all a con to keep your interest going ,my guess is that the admin behind the site are sending out the flirts to make you believe that they are interested dates by using false or old profiles ,all I can say is its such a shame as this site was a great idea matching the UK to the USA but sadly it's so obviously operated by deceit I'd definitely advise you to stay away...

I was very Skeptical to begin with. I have always wanted to meet an American Lady. I thought I would give it a go. I signed straight up to Premium as Standard is very basic and within 1 week I was chatting to 2 ladies. I have gone on to exchange numbers with 1 Lady due to a great connection between us. Since then we have been talking on the phone, laughing, exchanging life stories. It has been amazing. I dont get where all these poor reviews come from. I do believe the cancelling should be easier although my premium membership is still active. Also believe an app would be great but thats alot of work. Yeah there are a couple of other little flaws but what dating site doesnt have its issues. Personally if your interested in meeting someone from the States I say 100% give it a go. Put a couple of good photos on of yourself. Fill out your description with good detail and have patience. It can be so enjoyable and exciting when you start chatting and if it leads to visits etc then fantastic. So glad i Stumbled across this website.
