Refunds from this group are not working effectively. After cancellation of an order due to non stock, they failed to return the money they had taken in a reasonable time.

Ordered some skirting . The wrong skirting was sent. Waited two weeks to be collected. Nearly four weeks now and still waiting for refund. Told since my last call everything approved for refund and in the hands of my bank . Phoned my bank and nothing sent or waiting to go into my account 🙃

Abysmal service.

My partner ordered a 6x8 shed last month via B&Q.

We were told to stay in for the delivery between 15th and 19th of last month.
No shed.

We were then told it was being delivered today between 8am and 12 via Shire transport.

No delivery in transit notification today.
It's 11:30 and so far still no shed.

I've now taken 4 days off work for nothing.

Trying to contact iLikeSheds via their B&Q Account Manager is both frustrating and time wasting.

We appreciate that Chesterfield is a good distance ftom Bedford. But why take our order and payment if they can't deliver!

Very happy with this shed. Good value, good quality. I will give them 5 stars.

So far not good, 4 weeks later got the wrong shed that was missing a part and the wrong part was sent. The ETA on B&Q was about a week, I was made to wait 3 weeks, sent the wrong shed and with a missing as well as a wrong panel sent with it. Not fully knowing it was the wrong shed the replacement part that was thought to be missing was arranged to be sent and it ended up being sent as the wrong one. After attempting to correct yet another mistake, I noticed that the shed was the wrong layout: a 5x6 with the door on the 6ft side as ordered but getting the wrong shape with the door on the 5ft side. Not knowing the mistake I spent around 18 hours painting the shed weatherproofing it ready for the build only now to have wasted the paint and the shed to have to be returned. No compensation and no doubt the shed will be used by management now in there home nicely painted for them and ready to be built. Poor company really, this was the first time I have ordered a shed from anyone and now if I order one again I will do better research on the company because reading reviews here the problems seem to be the same. Late deliveries, messed up orders and unprofessional.

I have given this company chance to reply to me before posting publicly but as I haven't heard back....
Do not trust this company! I am a nurse who worked through lockdown and decided to treat myself to a summer house. I found one I liked and ordered it...and waited...and waited. Finally I was told sorry we can't source that one but we can "upgrade" you to this one. In desperation I agreed...and waited.. and waited! Finally 6 months after placing the order...and paying I was given 12 hours notice of delivery. No reply when I said this wasn't possible and returning home from work to find it dumped on my drive. The quality of the wood is dire...damaged, the nail holes misaligned the windows flimsy, nails rust and the finishing is rough. I am disappointed and angry as I feel conned into accepting a cheap version of a product I have seen advertised at a much lower price on other sites recently. I would not recommend this company at all.

I have basically be lied to -
Product delivered late and had to unload myself from Rd. driver was apologetic but said he only had 10 mins per site. Product was not correct wrong size parts for floor. Very poor instructions for general shed not what you ordered. Promised would be rectified following .week. 2 weeks later still no date after I waited in on day they said would be delivered. Only give a delivery date they would aim for but no guaranteed so sit in and hope!
13x8 shed is not size of base but includes overhang. Understandable if this was made clear so base to big.

Promise on website no quibble refund but when so exasperated I ask for refund told can’t guarantee when they can do pick up and no refund until pick up. To escalate to manager will be up to 48hrs . Emails ignored, calls no returned.
I genuinely don’t know what to do any advice grateful received

Ordered a Summer house in March,

Given a delivery date in August, waited in all day. No one turned up.

Second date given, No delivery again.
on the third day, driver arrived to unload a 10 by 6 shed on his own.. My elderly dad had to help unload the shed which has now caused him injuries.

Delivery arrived with parts missing.

Installation paid for in March can not be completed now until the 20th of September.

202 days from purchase to install (that's if it happens)

I ordered a playhouse and flooring base from them last month. The floor was delivered straightaway and the playhouse was due to be delivered in September however they cancelled the playhouse without telling me - I found out through my bank. I now have a base which is useless to me without the playhouse and they are refusing to refund the £466 as they’re saying I’m out of time. However I couldn’t have told them earlier as they did not make me aware of the cancellation which I believe to be a deliberate act. They are still saying the playhouse is available to buy on the website so they are knowingly taking people’s money when they can’t supply it.

This company have the most awful customer service. No correspondence from them unless you chase them, they then provide delivery dates that aren't met again with no communication at all, calling the customer service or delivery phone lines leads to a message that no one will answer and you must email. Only the sales teams answer calls (surprise, surprise) and they will not transfer you to a manager who they say has to call you back and will do so within 48hrs. I ordered my shed in early May and still do not have a delivery date confirmed. Do not use this company as they will happily take your money and provide nothing in return.

Without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. Happy to take your money and provide a delivery date which may never be realised. The products are made by and delivered by a company called Shire. They are happy to send you a message that your order is out for delivery, fail to deliver and cannot then be contacted. 3 phone lines never answered. They don’t like you using Trust Pilot and want you to use google which is currently under review for misleading reviews. This company needs to be investigated. Not surprising their CEO does not engage with customers and cannot be contacted by email. When I complained to Shire they referred me to ilikesheds as I was not their customer. BUYERS BEWARE

I don't want to give this Company any stars. Read the other reviews and believe this Company is actually worse than they are saying. I was stupid enough not to read them, save yourself heartache and lost money. Late delivery you would be better growing the trees yourself, poor quality! split timber, missing pieces, and incomprehensible instuctions. Customer Service...a word that doesn't exist for this company. To be honest I don't believe this is a real company. Have you noticed even the replies to the reviews are the same. I really hate giving bad reviews but please read this, I have a half built shed, in two days furniture was to be stored in it and this shed should have been delivered on the 6th April. I strongly suggest you don't use this firm. Oh and 'low eves' means a further rip off. I am not giving a reference number as the Company has had months to sit this out and their standard reply won't help in any way.

Weeks past the delivery date and still no shed. No communication. No good.

Update! Was given a provisional date of 21st or the 24th. Contacted them again to see which date exactly to then be told it’s now coming week commencing 24th and they can’t confirm a date. I’m really trying to give them a chance but as they have failed me many times with so much uncertainty and unfulfilled promises I wouldn’t recommend buying if it’s because of their supposed quick lead times as they cannot commit and you will be waiting.

Today contact made again confirming the delivery date and the specifications as requested. Wonderful quick service from Natalie. Just one hurdle to go - the delivery next week. Final post then. In the meantime - I'd say give them a chance they are doing what they say they will.

My parents ordered a summer house on the 14th March and was given a scheduled delivery the week beginning 25th April and it has never arrived - no correspondence from yourself after the 26th April to say delivery would still be that week. My father emailed you on 6th may for an update and no response from yourselves - this is poor service for the money being spent

I purchased a 5x3 shed on eBay. It was a cancelled order so we got a lucky bargain. It’s actually the best shed we’ve ever had. The instructions were clear and the contents were complete to the point of being excessive (we had tons of spare nails/ screws etc). It was a collection only deal but the customer service team were very accommodating in making the shed available for collection at a time convenient to us. Having had a horrible experience with another company last year I couldn’t be happier with this one.

Bought a summerhouse via manomano from this company, house turns up some 5 months later, appreciate covid but no updates and we had to chase them. Turned up with no glazing, locks, instructions, screws or nails.
Meant to have a 6-8 week pre treat, built house and treated several times with good quality Cuprinol treatment, and water seaps in.
Customer service has been shocking, sales manager extremely rude individual, directors refuse to speak to customers to can be found on companies house and LinkedIn.
Words can’t explain how disgusted I am with the company, product and staff. Next step trading standards

Oh....my bad. I should have re read the terms and conditions. Just what every annoyed customer wants to hear.

For the record, I fully appreciate that times are tough and that delivery dates can be subject to change for any number of reasons. I’m not an unreasonable cretin. It’s the pathetic excuse for communication at any point during the whole process that was the issue. You could have told me it was going to be a week late, but as long as you told me and kept me updated with days and rough timings, I’d have been a pussycat and your review would have been glowing.

Dreadful. Promised us a delivery date and a courtesy text the day before, from the delivery guy. Delivery date came and went with nothing. Cursory and impersonal email the next day apologising and saying they would ‘aim to have it to us by Monday’. Monday came and went. Husband tried calling but was told by an automated message that, due to them dealing with orders and trying to get sheds out to people, they simply didn’t have the time to answer the phone. Got a terse phone call on Tuesday to say the shed will be delivered today (so much for a text the day before). Waited in all day since no one was going to give us a rough idea on timings. Husband had to go to work at 5pm so was hoping to have it stacked behind the gates before he went. He phoned the company, lady had ‘no idea’ when we could expect it, but graciously offered to phone the delivery person for us. Apparently he’d be there before 5. At 5pm, just before leaving for work, he phoned again. Everyone had gone home. At 5.30ish, a delivery guy rocks up and leaves the shed on the wrong side of the house to the one what was requested. Rotten service. Just hope the shed is not as rotten..

Badly run and organised business, they clearly hate sheds - I now hate sheds too
