I paid 39 euro delivery costs for them to "forget" many articles. Customer service just told me I can get the money back for the missing articles and re-order, just to pay the 39 euro again!!! Very poor service!

My kitchen was due to be delivered on Friday 7/7/2023. At the appointed time only part of the order was delivered. All of the internal cabinet parts and work surfaces. No cabinets. Early that evening I received an email stating the the rest of the delivery had failed (no reason given) and that I would be contacted to arrange further delivery. 3 working days have now passed, with no contact from IKEA. I have made numerous attempts to contact them, and like my delivery, complete failure. They are eager to sell products and take your money,but as for after sales and assistance the do not care. I intend to go to the store if there is no response by the weekend, this involves a 600km round trip, I will get a response from someone.

Do not order delivery from Ikea! I have ordered a bed which was delivered. However they refused to take my old bed as they are required. I have been in contact with them 7 times absolutely useless!
Complete nightmare for delivery
Complete nightmare for delivery. Delivery was organized already for 3 times and we still don’t have all the products. Delivery guy refused to leave the delivery for the gardienne and refused to wait for 5 minutes so he left and we will need to organize another delivery. Let’s see if the 4th time they actually manage to deliver.

If you're not gonna buy a small item in the range of 10 - 50 euros and there is the slightest possibility of you canceling the order, DO NOT BUY from them!
I ordered a couch that was planned to be delivered a few days afterwards, after a few days they call and tell me there was an "IT error" and the delivery will be delayed. As I needed the couch on the planned date I just bought from Amazon and it arrived on time and I canceled my Ikea order.
They told me to wait 14 days and that my refund will probably be received before that. After 14 whole days I call and they tell me that another "IT error" happened. And my refund operation was not initiated.
So they tell me they initiated it now and I have to wait another 14 days. I wait for it and on the 14th day I call and they tell me there is a delay I have to wait some more. So yeah now I'm without my money for a month and I have deep regrets the day I walked into that store. Just buy from Amazon if you're on a budget, the products arrive faster, delivery is cheaper, and the items are of the same if not of a better quality.

I don't want to spend much time on this. I have to return a bed. I will give it a 5th try. If they (again) fail to come, I will just sell the bed for 5 euro on line. Horrible experience. I've spend a lot here and we got ZERO service. Will never buy here again. In other countries I never had a problem.

IKEA Evry: Spent a long time in the lighting department and the very nice sales agent sells me a LED batten with a transformer and a power lead. Only when home do I realise that he forgot to mention that the proprietary lead between the transformer and the light is not actually included and is a separate buy. No worries, go on-line to have it delivered. Oh no, can't deliver that item, you'll have to go back to the shop (over 1hr away). So it is at the shop? Yes, but not at the delivery depot so there is nothing we can do... Can I call the shop, it was their fault after all? No sir, can't give you the number for the shop. Can I speak with someone who can sort this out? No. And then they want you to do a customer service inquiry! Well, here it is

Awful! Placed two orders and paid for home delivery. Both times the courier company lied saying we had asked for the orders to be delivered to pick up points 30 minutes away. Awful service! €26 in delivery charges to end up having to drive and collect it anyway!
4 months later, I've received nothing
I placed an order worth 500 Euros back in July, and I still didn't receive anything in November, 4 months later. I called 20 times now, they either tell me lies or say they can't do anything beside wait for the IT unit who's not moving a finger. And I can't even cancel my order. It's just unacceptable.

I ordered an baby highchair (ANTILOP) reasonably priced and for guests arriving with a small child. From IKEA in Nice, France. The delivery arrived today with the legs and the tray - no seat... the seat is out of stock and offered a refund. Why on earth would I sit in and wait for a delivery of a high chair that without the seat is completely useless. Now of course, I must deal with what do I do with what I have and so on. Not going to even bother with the refund process!!! I wonder if IKEA in France is seeing their score of 80%+ bad reviews.

The customer service is bad , many agents are not respectful , when they hear that you have a complicated situation where you need their support they just end the call after being waiting for 15-30 minutes … their delivery partner is non professional and irrespecutful !!! The experience is just a Disaster … I will never order from IKEA again and i do highly recommend to do so

I ordered a kitchen from Ikea. The experience in store was good, and the delivery was fairly priced. So far, so good.
BUT... some items were not in stock, so I had to order them on-line afterwards. The delivery charge was 39€ which is hardly competitive.
The delivery was split into two parts, so I had to wait at home two days.
The first delivery - Chronopost did not turn up on the arranged day. Instead, a few days later, and without any advance notification they deposited the items a supermarket in town.
By this time, I was travelling, so I had to pay my workmen to collect the delivery - costing me 60€.
The second delivery, I waited at home. The delivery company never showed up. So now it's cost me 100€ and two wasted days so far, and I only have half my delivery.
Ikea customer services simply do not seem to care. I will not buy from them again.
Ikea Design Service
We used the Ikea Design Service to arrange for 6 new units of kitchen items to fit into our space valued at approx €4500.00. At the end of the process - which involved paying for an installer to preview the setting and a lot of work on our part - at the final meeting Ikea tell us the items we identified about 2 weeks prior - were not likely to be in stock any time soon. It seems we were drawn into this lengthy and costly procedure with a view to persuading us to make a second choice from their available stock as opposed to their advertised stock! They wanted us to either order what they did have in stock now and take delivery of it even though they admitted to supply problems or to change our choice - but they could have have clarified this at the start! They knew our choices had supply issues. We have wasted so much time on fittings we could never have including 1/2 a day with an installer who we had to pay for them to send on a pre-visit. Their design team must be on commission because their priority is to make a sale and not to assist you how to obtain your own choice for your own kitchen. Very time wasting and poor sales practices - and I have spent €139.00 on a process that was guaranteed to fail.
