Excellent customer service delivery and simple steps to apply

Have had a new look store card with ikano bank for a few years haven’t used the store card for over a year about a month a go started getting letters from Ikano bank saying I owned them money & I haven’t used my card went straight to my local new look store to see if they could help as I couldn’t get in contract with them to cancel my card newlook store tried helpin by ringin them but with no luck & advised me to pay the bill as am buying a house and didn’t want this to affect my financial status !!! And today I received a arrears letter for more payment I have tried ringing them leaving my name & number worst bank ever I don’t know wot else to do !! All I want to do is cancel my store card as somebody else is using my account can somebody help ??

Well I have fallen into the trap with these through ScS settee buy now pay later steer is faulty not even 1 year old tried to inform them not interested!! No one answers calls then charged interest for the for the pay later period!! Then 3 payments made I owe more that what I purchased the settee for!!!! DO NOT GET FINANCE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are robbing people!! Get I touch with FCA put a complaint in and get these shut down!!!!!!!!!

I am in credit of 118.90 on my store card, no one is answering any phone lines to help me and I have been told my store card account has been closed down so I cant access my own money , I need someone to get back to me.

Ikano bank are fantastic their customer sevice is excellent. I want to personally thank, Amy and Monica who were very understanding of my situation and were very professional and reassuring in a very stressful situation that I am currently having. Keep up the good work everyone.

In addition to my previous problems with this outfit just to let you know somehow they have won contracts for reputable companies such as Tesco finance god knows how,more misery for the unsuspecting.The company i used was a company called PRESTIGE MIDLANDS LTD {A double glazing company. } Its also to be noted if you google IKANO the CEO got sacked ! Just beware !! Theres a reason why most reviews only give them ONE star !! Read them before you commit !!

I took out an Ikano loan in March 2019 with retailer Evergen Solar. This was supposed to be interest free till 31st March 2020.

However, being self employed, I recently called Ikano as my income was now zero due to the Coronavirus. The customer agent said he would freeze payments for three months. Which was great, giving me piece of mind for some time.

However, a few weeks before calling to suspend, I suspected, something was off. I requested that I get all standing order and debit card payment history prior to being charged interest in March 2020.

I have received, my payment history and Ikano has been charging interest during the interest free period. This is totally disgusting, downright dishonest.

The worst thing is that a number Ikano team members have reviewed my account and not one of them saw that I was being charged interest.

I even had letters from ikano's complaints team stating they could not see any issues with account. I believe your advisors reviewing need training or it could be the case this is normal practice.

Please read Ikano.dk response, it sums up the bank, it does not make a difference if it's Fxxxxx ikano.uk or Ikano.dk. Fxxx off Ikano Bank.

Absolute bunch of crooks.I bought a top in Karen Miller for £25 and soon as the statement came in I paid in full on the automated line and got a reference code I paid.Ne t thing I get months a string of demanding non payment letters with a ton of interest..I wrote a letter of complaint and it stated they would look into it,I heard nothing,more letters came and now they have reported me to a credit reference agency where it will sit on my bad credit for 6 years!!!what the hell is going on?..watchdog,ousted the lot I have reported these cowboys.Dont bother calling customer service,bunch of gypsies who slam phones down and don’t want to listen

Failed to update address then put a default on credit file saying not paid even thought full payment was taken - Didn't investigate the complaint, even the response letter had incorrect details in it - should be struck off

Wouldn't recommend. Got charged £25 for a 'gone away fee' which is basically because I didn't update my address when I moved so they charge you £25 for returned mail. I know it's probably my fault for not updating my address but can't help consider £25 a theifing for a letter being returned. Seems like an easy way to make money.

Have taken out a loan with DFS and now trying to contact Ikano. Been on line in queue with initially number 21 and then al of a sudden number 90. Thought I was hearing things so hung and tired again and yes again started from being in queue at at number 16 to jumping to number 40. Seriously. My 1st experience with the

It's a shame others have a less satisfying experience. Don't be necessarily put off though.

I have just finished paying off my 2nd loan with them and have had no problems at all - in fact I have been kept informed very well, from immediate email confirmations, DD payment schedules and a "final payment" listed on my bank statements.
Setting up and letting the payments run their course has been completely issue free for me.
If it helps, the companies I had used were Harveys (furniture) and Vision Express, both dealt with the initial set up and all was good with both!

Hi, I signed the loan contract yesterday and after that I did not receive any sign from the bank, How many days it takes to enter the money in the account?

Firstly I have used this company in the past no problem at all plus paid off ! This week I had to take interest free credit for my new glasses at the vision express store... The process on the system were somewhat very slow to respond and blank screen appear ... I received text and email to say it is in the process so this left us find very odd ..... The store have tried to contact them and no avail to answer.. 3 days later still no answer and I have been checking online still no change so my last resort is call them myself. Discovered that they have already declined 3 days ago and can’t be bothered email either myself or supplier.. I said well there is some mistake I will go back reapply again Ikano customer services said don’t bother it will effect your score I told her my credit file is clean no default no late payment no error and I am looking at it now !!! They advised me appeal it ! What the point appeal and wait further for the outcomes if they can’t be bother give us an answer there and then but post a letter a week later... If you going accept or decline answer it not make it surprised .... Totally rubbish

Not consumer friendly, Requested a redemption via mortgage broker several other redemptions arrived from other creditors with no problems,but IKANO were awkward to the point that my remortgage was held up by them.Then as a consequence of them holding things up the mortgage company overpaid the IKANO account.Ikano now saying that they won't release funds from account because the mortgage company will have to request the money back as they overpaid.
