Great Financial Service
We have worked with Affinity Financial Advisors for a number of years and are very happy with the service they provide, particularly their personal, professional approach to our investments.
We were recommended them by another client and initially talked to Aaron at Affinity as we had a number of work and personal pensions to consolidate and invest. Aaron listened carefully to our needs and our investment preferences and formulated a plan that worked for us and reflected the amount of investment risk we were happy to take on.
Since that first consolidating and investment plan, they have helped us to work on our portfolio to ensure it is the best choice for us and our pensions.
Their website and portfolio hub is easy to negotiate and we are kept well informed of our pensions’ performance via regular emails and personal visits from the agent who manages our investments. They don’t rest on their laurels and are always looking at ways to help our money work as hard as possible for us and our future.
Taking on a financial advisor is an investment in itself but one that we feel, with Affinity, has definitely proved to be value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them wholeheartedly.

Paul Hockley was my excellent advisor re equity release. He was thorough, empathetic, very generous with his time and supremely patient in answering my endless questions! He showed me the thick folder containing every connotation of plans that they have to know thoroughly, so I was very confident of his expertise and experience in recommending the very best plan for me. He was quite strict in ensuring that I would be left with sufficient funds to meet my changing needs at all stages of my life in the future whilst not withdrawing too much! I had always thought that financial advisors are just for people with huge amounts of money to play with. I now see that this is not the case - they are there for everyone with any level of funds - in fact even more so if being very careful with your finances is necessary. So nobody needs to be scared of seeking financial advice if lucky enough to be in the kind and expert hands of Paul, especially if you are someone like me who is absolutely terrified of figures and paperwork!

I researched an IFA for some time as help with our financial security as we moved into retirement was so important. It was time well spent as the help, guidance and support we have received from Aaron and Affinity has been invaluable.

From my first call the agent allocated to help me renew my mortgage,
Raffaela Cioffi-Pinto was brilliant. Very helpful, knowledgeable and kept me in the loop at every step. I wasn’t sure I would get a better deal than the one being offered by my old mortgage company but I was assured they would get me one and they did.
Rafaela dealt with different companies and agencies on my behalf and definitely had my best interests and requests at the centre of everything. And, like I said, I was kept in the loop at every step and everything was explained to me for me to make the most informed choices at every step. If I ever had any questions or concerns she was very quick to get back to me. I’m very grateful for the work done and the deal I ended up completely thanks to Affinity. Thanks especially to Rafaela.

I would give them 6 stars. I only called for advice with no commitment but Rafaela went beyond what I expected and her advice was given without prejudice. They are a rare breed, no wonder they have such high ratings. I’ve save Rafaela’s number for the future as she is gold dust and I don’t say that about any service provider.
