Substandard service from Cex!!!

Imagine placing an online order for items that are in stock in multiple stores and only recieving part of that order.
And when queried why I didn't receive my full order I was told there was a system failure while processing my order
But if I'd like to reorder and pay additional postage Cex would only be to delighted to send me the rest of my order.
The great thing about been a customer is I get to choose where I shop and if a business can't be bothered to fulfill orders or rectify situations where they have provided substandard service then I'll choose to take my business elsewhere to a company that is capable of running an online store and not have to deal with bunch of muppets

Our stores make every effort to fulfil customer orders and we have guidelines in place to check the product specifications while processing them. However, at times, the stores notice that the item is incorrect or unfit for sale, thus, to avoid the inconvenience of returning the item to us, such items are cancelled.

With the way our system works, we try to assign this item to another store; however, this is not possible every time.

After a week delay 2nd try was ok...

As usual the first delivery was for an unchecked product that was far below expectations, (covered in greasy fingerprints and a cracked screen)
The best thing I can say is that returning the faulty item was free - even if it added a week of extra delays, due to the shoddy and despicable service of cex.
At least this time, the second attempt seemed to be ok, but I have yet to check the quality of the item I received (battery health etc, but at least that is covered by warranty, unlike the cracked screen I was originally sent)

Sent wrong Phone

Sent the wrong phone. Same brand but very much the wrong phone. Thankfully recorded the whole packaging opening as would be very easy to claim I switched phones without it.

Brought back to local store in Cavan, they were extremely helpful and processed the refund a d were really apologetic. They were fantastic

They threw away my property during a price evaluation

I took an Apple Watch in its complete, original Apple packaging to the CeX in The Square, Tallaght, for a price evaluation on April 12th.

When I returned to collect the item April 18th, having declined their offer, the staff could not find the full packaging. After checking CCTV, they admitted an employee had simply thrown the outer box in the bin.

This is a complete disregard for customer property. As any tech enthusiast knows, original packaging is vital for the resale value of Apple products. By destroying the "Full Set" integrity of my item, they have actively devalued it.

It is disgraceful that a company built on buying and selling used goods has so little respect for the condition of the items entrusted to them. I will never do business with this branch or the brand again.

3ds with lots dead pixel

Sent me 3ds with many dead pixels discounted and when I went to return the item in store the women in store said that the item should never of been bought or sold only good things of this experience was the easy return and fast enough shipping

Bang on, 100%. Was a bit worried when only two of 3 items arrived.
