Terrible customer service
My account wouldn’t verify my phone number finally got that fixed or so I thought then it says match blocked my account . Impossible to reach customer service so glad I quit paying for this and switched to free because it doesn’t work anyways . I just want to be able to delete my accounts
It has to be the worst site in America…
It has to be the worst site in America yet the smartest because they have no phone number. Easiest thing I did was dispute the charge at the bank because they were supposed to bill once a month, but they did not,..,..all one payment, just thieves with ugly women as customers.
And yes...they make surfing their site extremely hard, so you'll give up and most do.
You give far less for free than any…
You give far less for free than any other dating site. The best thing is the unlimited swipe rights. And then one thinks, "ooh I've loads of people interested" and then you go and pay for a subscription and 75% of the likes are men (I'm a man). Dudes, I didn't come gre to meet men. When I want a man, I can just go to Grindr and that's free for much more stuff. When I'm here, I'm lookingbfo4 a woman, and I want to be able to filter that and for some weird reason, unlike anyone other dating site, you don't allow it to specify if we want to meet women or men or both. Maybe you're registered to be all new age, but take from a bi guy, we'd rather you let us decide what we're looking for. Thank you.

They keep taking money from your account after you cancel
No ladies 😤😠
I was previously on match.com where I had some success. When my subscription ended and after several emails, I was enticed to rejoin at half the subscription price. Unfortunately and I can only assume there is some kind of algorithm which recognises that I’ve rejoined at half the subscription price as now there are no ladies in the reasonable area of which I live, but I do get a lot of ladies looking at me from hundreds of miles away in Scotland Ireland and Wales.
When my subscription runs out I shall not be rejoining match.com as I consider it essentially a scam for my money.
DO NOT waste your money on this dating app
Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. A high percentage of the profiles are fake or scammers. Also, a lot of the profiles are from different countries and miles away from where I am located. What is the point of that? Despite reporting both of these concerns the correct way, Match.com UK have not even bothered to respond. Diabolical service and terrible company
Match.com are guilty of Blackmail
The main purpose of dating sites and Match in particular, appears to be extracting as much cash from unsuspecting victims as possible. In the case of Match.com, you, as the punter, are sent encouraging messages from other site "members" and then invited to message that "member". At which point, you might think that a message field would be made available. Oh no. Nothing so simple. Large window appears demanding one of several alternative expensive subscription options to be paid for, in order to release the "members" details. That subscription is nearly impossible to cancel. Suggestion: Lose your card and your bank will provide a new one, with different i/d data on it. Which confuses the organisation's computers. Just don't provide Match with details of your new card, if requested.
Dating sites in general, appear to be a mugs game. An extremely frustrating game at that.
You will have more success down the pub, chatting up the bar maids.
An addendum. As a result of doing a bit of homework, it appears that many/most of the online dating sites are part of the Match Group. Using similar cash extraction methods as each other. (Out of interest, even Facebook's dating Group is related to Match).
Before engaging the services of an Online dating service, YOU SHOULD FIRST, check to establish if your intended provider "is part of the Match Group". Google will give you an immediate answer. Should your new group be part of Match, expect the worst.
They have found a rich vein of income (online daters) and exploit it to their fullest immoral advantage.
On their own admission, Match have just a 3% success rate.
If you value your cash, stay away from ANY Match related organisation.
CHECK, CHECK, CHECK FIRST, BEFORE COMMITTING ONE SINGLE PENNY.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Just going through credit card…
Just going through credit card statement and Match.com have been taking weekly £19.99 from my account since December! There is no customer service number and I have not subscribed to them! Very scary.
Credit Card company looking into it.
To bad they don’t have a zero star
To bad they don’t have a zero star! OMG! There are more creeps on here than at the gas station! Don’t waste your time! Watch a good movie instead! They only want to sleep with you! One wanted to sell crypto haha. The last one I deleted the whole entire app. Narc to the fullest. Told me he really didn’t look at my pic and it was my fluck he hit me. Huh! I let it pass! Then kept going dating I needed to change my pic. I told him I didn’t want to get certain attention. If a guy was looking for a 1/2 dress women I wasn’t it. Will I blocked him of coarse!
This is fraud from letter A to Z
This is fraud from letter A to Z. You can add them to cancel your account completely immediately without any notice from them. You will obviously have to pay for the year you have subscribed for, but they continue to silently steel from your account for years if you do not discover it. Impossible to get in contact with them, thou they have an address in Sweden witch is a sivilisert country, but not a change to get things sortere out. Not before you have to ask you bank to cancel you card and to pay for a new card. Visa, at least, will force them to pay your money back besides now you are out of their reach. Still after you have cancelled your account they continuously are sending you new offers of very willing women. What if you have already met a woman and she se all this correspondence from this awful gangster company ? They seems to not care, the onely thing they care about is your money. There is a reason why this company only get one star from everybody. They can very easily buy som 5 stars as there are a very few.
Dismal dating site
I joined December 2024. I was utilizing the site for about 3 weeks and then one day, I wasn’t able to log on. There is no customer service phone number you can dial as all communications are through emails which can take several hours to get a response to your questions or concerns. I was banned from the site with no explanation why. I did ask for a refund which they gave me, but no explanation of why my account was deleted from the site. I am a healthcare professional in my mid-50s. I live in the Bakersfield, California (Central California) region for reference.
For those under 40 years old, I recommend you choose a different dating site (or meet face to face) as the significant portion of people on this site are middle aged (40+ years).
Too many guys!!
I joined Match.com in 2020 and…
I joined Match.com in 2020 and purchased their most expensive plan, Platinum, but most of the women were not paying subscribers, so they couldn't read or respond to my emails. Fortunately, at that time, Match.com offered an "extra" feature that you had to pay for, which allowed unpaid subscribers to read and respond to your emails. I thought this service should be included in their most expensive plan, Platinum, but it wasn't.
I rejoined Match.com in 2024 and purchased the Platinum membership, but this time, they eliminated the "extra" service that allowed unpaid subscribers to read and respond to my emails.
Until they reinstate the service that allows non-paying members to read and respond, it is ineffective.
Match bans without cause
Match, "customer service", does not communicate. I was banned from Match due to something that my ex-wife did on their site. I had to investigate this. Match refused to investigate. They claim the right to ban without explanation. Ok Cupid is owned by Match. I was banned on Ok Cupid, as well. I had to contact my bank to have my fees reversed. They'll even try to keep your money.
Banned from Match After Creating Account
Hello. Well, Match.com may be considered to be reputable based on some reviews, but I recently attempted to create an account and was first informed there was a technical error. After following their suggestion to contact Customer Service, I was then told that I was banned for violating their Terms of Service. I was also advised to submit an appeal if I felt their decision was in error. Upon doing so, I was notified that their decision was final without being given any evidence or other information. They ended the email stating that nothing further could be done.
Whatever the error, flawed review system or identity theft, I wanted to put it out there in case others had similar experiences. Please be careful out there.

I had been on match a few years ago and found it good but I have tried many attempts to register and every time your in it logs you back out and tells you your credential are invalid , I have tried to contact the support team but don’t even get an email back so it’s out for me . They need to sort their website out
Absolutely dismal customer service
Absolutely dismal customer service. After encountering repeated problems on the site and with the app, and after numerous emails to Match, they finally replied that they couldn't help me because they couldn't "verify" my account. This is simply lazy customer service.
Don't Sign Up at Match.com
I signed up for Match and am not seeing much in the way of matches. I will get an email indicating there are matches, but when I launch the app there is nothing. Even when I see one of the very few matches it does not allow me to indicate my interest. All it wants is for me to upgrade. Why would I do that when the basic doesn't function correctly. Glad I only paid 3 months.
My Match Experience
I recently decided to check out Match and Senior Match to see if I wanted to sign up. I created a free account on each one, got verified, answered the questions and told a little about myself. I wanted to see which one looked more promising, then I was going to close the other one. I only went on each one a couple of times and listed a few likes. Then a few days later, I tried to sign onto Match.com and a note came on the page telling me that I had been blocked.
Needless to say, I was in a total state of shock!. I asked myself, what could I have done so wrong in only a couple of days? I am using a VPN and when I wrote to Match, I told them that. When I wrote about myself I was careful not to write anything that would be misunderstood. I think I sent one respectful message to a lady too.
I decided to write to Match in an attempt to find out why I was blocked. Match responded to my email but all they would tell me was that it was in their best interest to block me. I received another email on 6/23/24 telling me that they are going to look into it a little deeper. I will write an update once I hear back from Match.
VERY UNHAPPY CLIENT -i am being…
VERY UNHAPPY CLIENT -i am being bombarded with photos of men from England and often the same repeatedly.
i am not convinced that these men are still on the site and then i was offered £9.99 which i thought was instead of paying the regular amount of £19.99 ? but not sure if both or the smaller amount is going to be taken from me! I feel i am caught in a total scam and unable to cancel out of it!
i am stuck for six months or more and have to pay up til then at least. Never Again.
Impossible to cancel - only suspend up to six months still taking the money and then even i am worried about cancelling !!!!!!
