How does identity theft restoration work?

IDShield has Licensed Private Investigators to provide the best identity restoration possible and undo the damage done by identity thieves. IDShield Licensed Private Investigators, licensed in the state of Oklahoma, will work for as long as it takes to restore a member’s identity to its pre-theft status. By performing restoration services, consumer reports are returned to their pre-theft status and other records are cleared of the activity created by the identity thief.

How can I access my IDShield team in an emergency?

Access after-hours consultation for covered identity theft emergencies. Call (866)-696-0927 to speak to a representative 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also log in to the IDShield mobile app and select Call Emergency Line to make your call.

What is IDShield's cancellation policy?

IDShield is a monthly subscription service, and members have the right to cancel at any time. Per company policy, all cancellation requests must be provided in writing. The easiest way to do so is by emailing support@legalshieldcorp.com with your name, membership number, phone number, and your request to cancel the membership. Rushed.

Received telephone call and Attorney was in a hurry. Rhe email he gave me may have been wrong or being rushed, I did not write it down accurately. In sending the scam email, it did not forward. So, issue was not resilved.

Necessary to have but confusing to understand.

I think in today's world of identity theft it is good to have a service of this sort. However, it's not the easiest to understand when a piece of identity is compromised, specifically what to do in each situation noted. I have had to call the number provided to get a more clear explanation. And sometimes still not very clear.

Help with identifying a scam and cleaning compputer.

I needed help determining whether or not I was being scammed and I received it. I also was referred to the Geek Squad to get my computer cleaned. This was affordable and accessible.

Be prepared to do some work if you've been involved in a scam.

Timothy was very helpful, knowledgeable and gave me all the info I required. However, had hoped I could have avoided doing all the reporting and work that the identity theft had caused me.

ID Shield warned me my Information was on the dark web.

ID Shield warned me my information was on the dark web and advised me to change passwords and freeze my credit. I guess I thought they would do more. Hopefully, if something does happen, they will fix it.
