Prior to the appointment, I was asked to download an app that was very easy to use and upload all required documents to. George was then super efficient during the video call appointment and got everything signed and sent off very quickly. He was even quick to help when I had a dog and letterbox disaster, reissuing the forms I needed and sending them out again. Thank you so much for making the process so easy! Would absolutely recommend if you’re needing your ID check done.

Smart and efficient top quality service from start to finish! The process was so simple, I booked online, picked my time slot and straight away received confirmation & detailed instructions via email with everything I would need to do. Uploading documents was quick and easy and then finished with a zoom call with George to complete the process & all done from the comfort of my own home. 10/10 would definitely recommend for anyone needed to be ID verified. I had a good experience using this service. The platform was easy to navigate with clear instructions on how to upload my documents. Logging on to the zoom call was simple and straightforward and everything worked smoothly. I did not encounter any problems.

I had a consultation today with George Boyd-Gibbins. He was diligent and professional and very easy to deal with. The online meeting was much shorter than I’d expected. He dealt with everything efficiently in a friendly manner.

That was honestly one of the most surreal experiences I've ever had. A Zoom call with a man who clearly did not want to be there and did not want to be helpful in any way at all. I didn't understand the legal process which we were doing so obviously I asked a few questions which he answered and became instantly bad tempered when I asked him to repeat/clarify anything. In this case I was using them as a favor for my ex wife - I certainly wouldn't touch them with a barge pole after this experience.

Initially I thought the service was ok, in that the forms were completed & sent off. But later the Land Registry wanted to speak to Gareth by way of their usual confirmation checks. Initially he said he'd be happy to help, but then he didn't call them (despite being given all the information requested). I gave up chasing after 3 attempts, then had to get a new ID check done elsewhere, wasting significant time and money. So, overall I would not recommend this service.

Tried to scam me £50 on top of advertised rate, saying I needed more verification that tied me to the property in question - not true then Offered to verify it anyway for even more money! ........ Search the SRA they are not solicitors, who knows how they have access to government verified id scheme! Reported for fraud.

Simplified process for obtaining ID1 verification. 10 mins to scan documents to CREDAS, 20 min zoom call to verify. If you follow the instructions and prepare well, its very straight forward and considerably cheaper than using a High St law firm.

UPDATE!!! ID5 just replied to my TrustPilot Review with an OUTRIGHT LIE!!

They say my documents WERE POSTED BY TRACKED 24 hr on 20/1/26 and the post office ‘didn’t scan’ them….?? Firstly that’s utter nonsense as they could never know that! but MORE IMPORTANTLY, I ALREADY HAVE the documents because I collected them IN PERSON! They didn’t even read my review properly which is about money I am owed (£9.99 for postage that was NOT UTILISED!) and which Mr Boyd-Gibbins has refused to return.
ID5 are cowboys please stay well away!!

The story so far and my initial review earlier today was…

I was overcharged (£78.99) by your bristol-based agent George Boyd-Gibbins (who had been fine, otherwise). I contacted him twice, politely, by email, to ask for a refund of £9.99 (for first-class tracked postage which was NOT used) and, disappointingly, he has ignored my request for reimbursement which I find puzzling and unprofessional. He has made no move to rectify the situation. I would like reimbursement asap, please.

Really thorough checks using CREDAS plus videocall with a very knowledgeable solicitor (George) who helped me with verifying my ID when my lender-appointed solicitor needed independent ID verification as I was not directly represented by them. ID1 and ID5 forms plus separate service for certified ID copies sent to me really fast for my conveyancing process to progress smoothly! Highly recommend and thank you for your time -even on a weekend!

It was a very straightforward set of instructions to arrange certifying the ID1 form.
Good communication on the day of booking the appointment and very straightforward credas intro for providing acceptable forms of I/d ahead of the zoom meeting to finalise the operation. I've kept all the details to enable me to use them again should it be necessary.
