Exceptional care for my husband who has spinal injury
After my husband sustained a spinal injury in a sporting accident, he needed 24-hour support at home including tracheostomy care and help with all daily activities. We had used a few companies before but always had problems with clinical expertise and quality of staff. As a family we were trying to find a provider with the right clinical knowledge and experience.
From the moment we spoke with iCare Living, we felt very reassured. Their nurse and operations manager clearly understood the complexity of my husband’s condition and explained how they would safely manage his care. They put together a brilliant team who were trained in tracheostomy care, moving and handling, and supporting his rehabilitation goals.
What has stood out the most is the professionalism and compassion of the carers. They treat my husband with dignity and patience and they’ve taken the time to build a genuine relationship with him and the family rather than just carrying out tasks.
The management team are always very responsive and keeps us updated regularly, which gives us confidence that everything is being overseen properly.
