Purchased a visitor Maroc Telecom esim but never got it.

I had purchased an esim 5days ago, the journey since then has been unbelievably stressful.

First I didnt get my QR code. I called customer service and they advised to go to the office, I went to office they advised to call customer service, then I sent an email and got the QR code and information of an esim which currently in use by a different person.

So I went to the headoffice at Gueliz and got a very rude experience from the customer service.

Till now, I still dont have my esim or refund.

This has been the worse experience from an institution since my 6years visit to Morocco.

Stay away and refer to another operator

A disgrace for the good name of the Kingdom of Maroc. They accepted and confirmed an online order for an eSIM, charged my credit card and never sent the email with the QR code to install the eSIM.

They never answered further emails, their city client service centers refuse to help and refer you to the call center; the call center tells you they can't help and refer you back to the city offices.

A scam accompanied by a lousy and arrogant client service.

WORST THING EVER. I subscribed, paid and never get to use the service. I even contacted the client service but they didn’t respond. At first I didn’t even get the activation qr code. I asked for it via email, but then it didn’t work, and after another email they never answered me

Dear Maroc Telecom Team,

Dear Maroc Telecom Team,

I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding my experience at the Marrakech Medina branch on [26th March 2026].

I arrived at the branch at 5:37 PM to request an eSIM. Upon arrival, the security at the door informed me that the system was down. When I asked why it was always down, he told me to check with the staff inside if they wanted to assist me.

I approached a staff member and politely asked for help with the eSIM. He refused to listen and repeatedly stated that the system was down. He also mentioned that I was late, even though the branch closes at 6:00 PM. When I explained that I needed the eSIM because I was traveling, he said there was nothing he could do.

I asked for his name, and he refused to provide it, stating it was none of my concern. The security also refused to give his name. Later, another agent called me and offered to assist me if the system came back online. I waited 10 minutes, left my ID on the desk as requested, and returned after 10 minutes. However, he still refused service, gave me back my card, and denied any assistance.

This staff member is an older man with dark skin, some white hair, and glasses. From my arrival at 5:37 PM, he was refusing service to anyone entering the branch, claiming the system was down. His behavior was unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. He did not check my request or explain anything.

In contrast, when I visited the Maroc Telecom branch in Gueliz, the staff there were extremely professional. Although I could not get the eSIM that day, the ladies took the time to explain everything I needed to do, treated me with respect, and showed excellent customer service.

I request that you look into this matter and take appropriate measures to ensure that customers are treated respectfully and professionally at all branches.

Thank you for your attention.

This company has no moral

This company has no moral, dignity or empty. I live in a disaster zone flood area in Morocco. I haven't been to my house for almost 3 weeks. My house is flooded; yet they sent me a bill for my interest connection. I don't know when and if I would go back to my home and whether the interest is working. Absolutely soulless!!!

The bad company and service ever encountered.

I’ve had repeated fibre internet cuts with IAM over the past year and again this year so frequent that I end up calling support almost every week. Each incident typically leads to a long wait (around 24–48 hours) before service is restored, with limited updates and inconsistent follow‑up.
My work depends on internet, and today I’ve had no connection since the morning despite my bills being paid on time. I have documentation (photos/videos) of multiple outages and I’m asking for a permanent fix, faster intervention, and fair compensation for downtime.
I do not recommend this service based on reliability and support experience.

After paying one month of cash at their…

After paying one month of cash at their office in Casablanca to transition from a prepaid to a 2-hour calling + 22-Gig Data-plan at the beginning of November, I realized that my internet completely stopped working on December 10th with no record of data consumed AT ALL. My calling minutes however have been fine. Frustratingly, I have been charged double the total price in November (meaning I have paid for the base price of my plan 3 times over until now, and it's not even January 1st yet). STILL I have no data. Impossible that I used 22-Gigs in 10 days and no trace in on my phone nor my online account. Moreover, because I needed Internet, I had to load 3 gigs via prepaid card to my number just to be able to navigate.

After visiting the Twin Center office, I was told by the representative that he couldn't help me and was not even aware that I could still add additional credit regardless of being on a plan. He was embarrassed when I showed him that it was possible and dismissed me saying that he could not help, that he was NOT OBLIGED to help me because other people are waiting. Very INCOMPETENT, childish and unprofessional!! I ran to the Derb Omar office. The rep was friendlier and rational, called the customer support. The phone rep said that because I have an older iPhone (8), that my data plan gets consumed even if switch to Wifi due to my phone be old. It's the most bizarre explanation I have ever heard, but if it is true, DO NOT get Maroc Telecom. My business should not be dependent on how new or old my phone is. This type of info needs to be clear before you agree to a plan not after, otherwise it's a huge scam and highly misleading. IAM REF: 954944470
