This may be a sophisticated scam. They want you to sign up with a small amount of US$ (250, 350 or 500) then gradually convince you to add more. You get a personal account manager/broker who phones regularly (Voip) - mine was from London - slowly building your trust in them. He quoted a FINRA number to me (possibly an impersonation), and pointed me to the legitimate ASIC ABN for I2Trading (Australia) Pty Ltd. I did see lots of red flags, so was wary. He said we would make 7-12% profit per month and that the company had returned 120% pa over the last 4 years. He proved that I could take money out (took $50 via a cryptowallet, was easy). However, when I checked with the UK FCA, they advised me I2Traders was likely to be a "clone firm" of some other and I should be very wary. Also, a document given to me purporting to be from the FCA, saying that I2Traders was a subsidiary of Flow Traders London, was not verified as theirs.
Today, 1 day after contacting the FCA, I have found myself locked out of my account and unable to access the remaining funds. According to I2trading, I do not exist as a client. So, beware!
I have sent information to FCA, Scamwatch, FINRA and Flow Traders.
Update: I was phoned tonight by the supervisor of my broker, who supposedly was sick today & unable to phone me. This new person said ALL the Australians (not just me) were unable to access their accounts today due to "regulatory changes happening more frequently over the past few weeks". He provided me with a new link to access my account. However, my replies to him have been blocked by Google.
Update: Since then I have been able to access the account again and I'm awaiting approval of a withdrawal of funds to my cryptowallet.

Security is a big concern for me, but i2trading has top-notch measures in place. I feel safe trading on their platform, knowing my funds are well-protected.
