Hy's is Over Rated
Hy's is Over-Rated! It was my 35th Wedding Anniversary, and my wife and I decided to celebrate and have dinner at Hy's Steak House. The server was an ex-car salesperson because he kept trying to upsell us during the entire service. I wanted to enjoy my wife's company, and he would not stop coming around our table. He says he has something special just for us, an excellent cut of Wagyu Beef from the Big Island of Hawaii. So my wife thought we would give it a try. We both wanted it slightly more than medium rare, but he brought a well-done, charcoal-burned meat. Our server should have rejected the order. I could not believe it was approved and served. Where is quality control? There are many better restaurant choices on Oahu, with much better quality food.
