im a filipino i have a hype next account and twice that they blocked it because my permesso di soggiorno got expired.i literally cannot use my card.my money is stucked with them.and they said i need to apply for a renewal of my permesso di soggiorno and they will unblocked it.its ridiculous plus they already have my carta identita here in italy.what more do they want.i know its just a proof of residency.but to block my account for it is just unacceptable

Hi, when your residence permit expires, you must submit a renewal application to continue using your account. While waiting for your new residence permit, you can attach the application and appropriate documentation. An Italian document alone, if you have a residence permit, is not sufficient.

incredibly disappointing customer support!
The Hype service I once trusted five years ago has become incredibly disappointing. The customer support is unhelpful, and dismissive. I recently asked for a basic bank statement—something any bank should provide without issue—but the representative flatly refused and wouldn’t even let me speak to someone else. Completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, my card has been blocked multiple times without explanation, leaving me unable to access my own money for several days each time. No proper warning, no clear reason, no urgency to resolve it.
This kind of treatment toward loyal customers is not only frustrating but deeply unprofessional. I no longer feel secure relying on this service.
