the car next to mine was parked right on the line

the car next to mine was parked right up to the line so I had to park a little bit over my line to get out of my car . I was gone for about 5 minutes to pick up a parcel and got a £100 fine. they hide in there car and jump out to take a photo. this is a very bad company. if they made the parking space a little bit bigger this would not happen

Why is this Company allowed to Trade in such a fraudulant MännerThis Company is the worst I have ever…

This Company is the worst I have ever dealt with. They may as well not bother detailing the Appeal procedure at the back of their Parking charge notice. I appealed online against a parking charge notice within the 28 day notice allowed but They did not respond. I wrote to them, they did not respond. I wrote to them recorded delivery. They did not respond. I tried to Appeal with the Independent Appeal Service but HX are supposed to supply you with relevant Information to enable you to do that but they have not done so. The only phone number for HX is the line where they take payment for the fines. In other words it is impossible to Appeal to them or to the IAS. And yet they are allowed to carry on fining drivers indiscreminately. It is a disgrace and something should be done about it. They are crooks hiding behind an appearance of Legality, which is a sham as the Appeal procedure is totally under their control and will never lead to anything. I am shocked that such dishonest companies are still allowed to Trade in such a fraudulant Männer.

Warning Cheyne Walk Northampton NN1…

Warning Cheyne Walk Northampton NN1 5PU

I entered this car park and parked in the spaces behind the building. The only access to the parking area is from the entrance off Cheyne Walk. I paid the fee in accordance with sign on the wall.,, never gave it a second thought...and went to see my new daughters new born twins at Northampton Hospital.

BUT HX Car Park operates the parking in front of the building! As I drove round to the rear car park there was no signage to tell me there would be an issue.
I appealed as I thought this is quite unfair...and appealed through IAS... a complete waste of time and appeal rejected.
So £100 later... I am left angry and frustrated.

HX Car Park Management are shysters and... the Independent Appeals Service is a joke!!!

Disgraceful organisation

I’ve rarely encountered a company as inefficient, dismissive, and utterly disconnected from basic customer service as this car park management firm.
From the moment they issued an unjustified “fine,” it became clear their business model relies less on fairness and more on intimidation and automated threats. Queries are ignored, appeals vanish into a black hole, and genuine attempts to resolve issues are met with silence or generic copy-and-paste responses—when you’re lucky enough to get a response at all.
There is no meaningful customer support, no transparency, and certainly no accountability. Instead, they operate like a faceless money-collection machine, hoping most people will simply pay out of frustration rather than fight back.
Processes are opaque, and common sense appears to be completely absent from their operations. Mistakes are treated as revenue opportunities, not problems to be fixed.
If you value your time, sanity, and basic respect as a customer, avoid any car park managed by this company. Their approach is not about managing parking—it’s about exploiting it.
An organisation built on poor communication, aggressive tactics, and zero regard for fairness deserves every negative review it gets.

HX Car Park Management... No empathy

Car was parked next to another vehicle, which was parked to one side, but within the marked bay. We parked further across so we did not damage either car when getting my elderly mother from the vehicle. This can be seen on the pictures they supplied as part of their claim. At the other side of the parking bay three was a wall, which would have made exiting my vehicle very difficult, without damage to my car. I explained all of this in my appeal, this was rejected with the statement showing you have to park between the lunes, and no further appeal process. My mother is almost 82, and we parked as near to the cafe as possible, due to limited mobility, but again this was dismissed.
We paid the fine and now that is money which won't be spent in the local shops and cafe, so well done.

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful. I was parked on a line in Aldi carpark, Meanwood Leeds. The carpark was practically empty, spaces both sides and behind and I've been fined £100 for this. Absolute scammers, you literally can't do anything these days without some chancers trying to make money off a really simple mistake.

Not even 1 star

Not even 1 star! As all the other reviews say, this company is despicable, thieving , sly, underhand and devious. Those are the polite words! Their charge notice states that there is clear signage in and around the site…neither I nor my husband have seen any signs to say there is a 3 hour parking limit or we simply wouldn’t use this parking facility!! Plus to charge £100 is daylight robbery and they get away with it!! Surely there is an ombudsman or someone who can rectify this issue.
I will pay the fine purely as having read the reviews it’s obvious you won’t win an appeal and can’t face the stress of a fight. I suspect they thrive on that too. They should be ashamed of themselves but they just want money. Let them all rot!

As per previous revieRobbing sharksws

As per previous reviews, these people are devious, snidey, robbing legalised muggers. I parked in a parking spot where the neighbouring vehicle was into my parking space so I had to park my car further over and that put me outside of the marked parking bay. I was in Aldi at Stonegate rd for less than 10 minutes. £100 fine means I won't be using any business that uses these sharks to "manage" their car parks. Come on Aldi. Sack them before it drives more customers away

Disgusting Company

This is the worst company ever. That it is allowed to trade legally is a disgrace. Parked in Spanish City Whitley Bay, paid via Ringo as per the nearest display. Then received the most threatening letter demanding £100. The letter was worded as if I had committed a mass murder. There was no one I could phone, and the threat of legal action and hundreds of more funds in fines was appalling. I can't believe Whitley Bay Council are using this bunch of thieves. Everyone should get together and take legal action against HX.

Wrong Car Park in Whitley Bay

We parked in the wrong car park at the Spanish City Whitley Bay and paid Ring Go. Got a notice to pay a fine even if they did not send the original notice and could not appeal. Why do they have similar car parks In Whitley Bay without a sign.

My 82 year old Mum's car broke down in…

My 82 year old Mum's car broke down in November 2024 which was controlled under HX car park management. I called out the RAC for my Mum who attended and replaced the car battery at the high cost of £155. Whilst waiting for the RAC and repair she went over the parking time allowed. I appealed to HX first who declined and then to a third party company who also declined. My Mum now has a bill for £170 which has caused her huge anxiety and stress over something she wasn't in control or fault. To make matters worse it was a freezing cold day and my Dad who is 84 had to sit in a freezing cold car waiting for the RAC who is poorly with heart failure. Having finally received another letter to pay or worry further about court proceedings i have reluctantly paid this. Surely this isn't morally right.
