Christmas ruined

4 weeks ago we reported our oven broke down and until now we still haven't received a replacement. We can't make any plans for Christmas. We wanted to have a nice christmas dinner on Christmas Eve but that's like asking for the moon.

They made the whole experience of moving as easy as it could have been.

Hunters Lettings in Worcester Park

My experience with Hunters Lettings Estate Agents was deeply disappointing due to the unprofessional behaviour of the lettings manager.

I had a viewing scheduled, but unfortunately, I had to cancel due to a genuine illness. Rather than understanding the situation, the manager seemed to take personal offence, and I was subsequently made to feel as though further opportunities to view this or other properties were being deliberately withheld.

It is shocking that such a trivial matter could result in such a disproportionate and unprofessional response. A manager in this position should exhibit understanding and professionalism, but instead, I encountered what felt like an overinflated ego and an inability to separate personal feelings from their responsibilities.

The entire ordeal left me questioning how a company could allow such behaviour to affect their customer service. The lack of professionalism from someone in a senior role was not only unacceptable but also detrimental to the company’s reputation.

I cannot recommend Hunters based on this experience. I hope they address these issues to prevent other clients from enduring such poor treatment in the future.

We feel the agent did not convey our…

Hunters, Carlisle Branch.
We feel the agent did not convey our offer correctly to the vendor, telling them we had met their price without including the proviso that we had made that our increased offer was to include contents and furnishings to the value of £5,000. Therefore the vendors thought we had met their price while we thought we had negotiated some furnishings for the property. This we feel was dishonest and caused embarrasment and problems when finalising the sale through the solicitors.

So unprofessional

So unprofessional. Middlesbrough- Teesside Lettings branch cancelled my viewings on the same day just an hour before the appointment with a lame reason of not confirming it via an email when the appointments are usually confirmed by phones. Also no necessary information about the property was given a week ago while I booked the appointments but today after them sending me appointment cancellation emails. I had cancelled my plans for today as I had 2 appointments with them. Staff has no manners to talk to a client, the way of sending emails is so casual and informal. They offered me appointment for the next day when I specifically requested for an appointment for today itself a week ago. I just told them I don’t want to go ahead with such unprofessional company. Management needs some training so do the staff in dealing with the clients.

Disappointing customer care

Not the fault of Hunters York that no buyers have come forward but have to admit to being disappointed in their apparent lack of professionalism. In 4 months of marketing not one call or email showing any modicum of interest nevermind to discuss progress or strategy. Hopefully a new approach by one of their competitors might do the trick in early 2025.

If I could give 0 stars

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had entrusted Hunters West Hampstead to help me find a rental property, but my experience with one of their agents, Gavin, was beyond disappointing. Gavin is, without a doubt, the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in my life. Behavior like his is unacceptable in any professional setting, and individuals like him should not represent any company — they should be dismissed.

As a result of this terrible experience, I will never engage with any branch of Hunters again. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company with something as important as finding a home.

"Avoid Hunters Property Management

"Avoid Hunters Property Management – Inefficient, Rude, and Unprofessional"

My experience with Hunters Property Management has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. They have consistently demonstrated poor service, inefficiency, and a dismissive attitude towards tenant concerns.

Ineffective Issue Resolution: Hunters fails to handle even basic maintenance issues. For example, a heating issue during winter was passed to the landlord without any attempt to troubleshoot. I had to step in and take personal risks to resolve the problem myself, only to discover it was a simple battery replacement. Their inability to perform even basic triage highlights their lack of professionalism and problem-solving capabilities.

Creating Gaps Between Tenants and Landlords: Instead of acting as a competent mediator, Hunters merely relays messages between tenants and landlords, causing delays and unnecessary misunderstandings. This approach has damaged the relationship between myself and the landlord, as the agency often fails to communicate effectively or accurately.

Rude and Dismissive Behavior: The staff frequently respond to concerns with a dismissive tone, making tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Their arrogant demeanor gives the impression that addressing tenant concerns is a favor rather than their responsibility.

Neglecting Tenant Safety and Comfort: Health and safety issues, such as rat infestations and malfunctioning alarms, were not addressed promptly, despite the serious risks they posed. The lack of urgency in handling these matters has caused significant stress and discomfort for my family.

Minimal Value Added: Hunters operates more like a messenger than a property management service. They fail to provide meaningful solutions and seem content to pass the burden of responsibility onto others, leaving tenants to fend for themselves.

Overall, Hunters Property Management has proven to be unprofessional, inefficient, and dismissive. Both tenants and landlords deserve better. I strongly advise against using their services if you value timely resolutions, respect, and effective communication.

Hunters Manchester Property Management

Hunters Manchester Office managed an up-market property for me in the city centre.

It was far from a good experience.

At best i felt the service provided was 'best efforts' rather than coordinated and professional.

If they could make an error (sometimes repeatedly) they would, which meant I ended up continually monitoring things and lost money as a result.

Contacting Hunters was at times very hit and miss, and repeated attempts to speak to their regional manager when unresolved issues arose was met with silence.

In my opinion there are better options out there for managing your property. I'd never go back to Hunters Manchester .

Hunters Belmont Circle

Called Hunters Belmont Circle to arrange a valuation of my home. They asked me the reason for wanting to sell and when I told them it was because we're divorcing the representative immediately turned frosty and said they charge for valuations if your selling due to divorce. Imagine you're presented with a very devastating and traumatic life event, and then the pariahs come a hunting to see if they too can make a profit out of someone else's misery. Shameful.

Why all the complications?

Tried to book a viewing online of a property in South Shields. I received multiple text messages and emails asking me to complete a further questionnaire before they could proceed. This questionnaire then appears to have prompted another questionnaire (with multiple further texts and emails), which looked like it was going to try and book me in for a property valuation of my current home.
I decided instead to call and try and book a viewing. The gentleman who answered seemed thoroughly disinterested and told me viewings could only be booked for weekdays, and only during the hours of 9am to 5pm. I explained that I work during those hours (as most people do, I would suspect) and he said, 'Ok then, bye' and terminated the call.
Not sure exactly how anyone is supposed to view a property with Hunters.

Great experience with Hunters, Worcester Park

We recently bought our new home through Hunters in Worcester Park, and we were very happy with the service, particularly from Stephen. Right from our first interaction, he stood out with his straightforward and transparent approach.

Stephen was great at keeping us updated. With a new baby on the way, we had tight timelines, and Stephen made sure nothing was overlooked. His dedication, whether chasing down details or resolving unexpected issues, truly made a difference.

We wholeheartedly recommend Stephen and the team at Hunters, we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future.

Thank you, Stephen, for your all your support!

Dishonest and unprofessional estate agents, did not honour their written commitments to us. Routinely rude, very unpleasant to deal with. They treat customers like pests, and do not try to hide it. I do not understand how they stay in business.
