Hugo Boss, really? After spending around £5,000 to reach Level 3, I expected at least a birthday acknowledgment. Two days later—nothing. No email, no gift, nada.
Even better, your emails politely tell me:
“To ensure timely processing, we kindly ask that you refrain from sending follow-up messages regarding the status of your request…”
Ah, yes, of course—don’t bother us while we ignore your emails. That’s what “timely processing” clearly means. Meanwhile, brands like Calvin Klein and even Gordon Ramsay managed to remember my birthday without a hitch.
And now you expect me to spend another £2,237 to reach Level 4? Loyalty isn’t measured in money—it’s measured in respect. If this is how Hugo Boss treats its best customers, I guess I’ll just take my business somewhere that actually values it.

Poor Quality
Bought some boxer shorts from their Boss range yesterday. Cheap material feels like they have been washed in a lot of chemicals. Used to regularly buy Hugo Boss clothing but last few years quality has become really poor.

I ordered a belt and a gift box from Hugo Boss as a special gift, and the box arrived damaged. I contacted customer service expecting they’d replace it, but was told they “can’t send replacement gift boxes” and would only issue a refund.
For a brand that prides itself on luxury and quality, this is unacceptable. I wasn’t asking for anything extra, just for them to fix what arrived damaged. Instead, I got a generic apology and no real solution.
It’s frustrating that a company of this level doesn’t seem to value their customers or the experience they promise. I expected far better service and care from Hugo Boss. Sadly, this experience has completely changed how I view the brand.

Don’t waste your time buying in Hugo Boss website.i booked with collection in the dental shop. The courier could not deliver the parcel to the shop for several days as the courier could not find the shop in Bond Street with huge letters HUGO BOSS 🤣
Later they were trying to deliver at 8.00 am . Probably they did not know that shops open at 10.00 am. I requested to cancel the order.

If they want to operate at the price point they charge they need to have proper customer service, proper delivery tracking, and to take ownership of problems rather than blaming their subcontractor

Spent £134 on Polo, I have washed it and when attempting to steam it, I noticed that there’s a line/crease across the front and back of the T-shirt. HB said it is normal! What a joke!
Pushed to buy without return policy
My wife went to store to buy me a T-shirt for anniversary. She had two small babies with her, so was easy pushed to buy 4 T-shirts at total cost of 900£ with a discount included.
Nor did I like those t-shirts, nor we had a budget to buy those, but according to her, she was pushed by the seller. Again, I fully understand that she was not pushed with a gun at the head, but given that she has just recently delivered and had babies on her, her head was off. When she came home - I asked her to return all, because 900£ is huge amount, but she was not able to (because discount clothes are not returnable)
I explained all of that in email to HUGO Boss and that neither of the clothes were even touched, when I saw the price. We are not rich, and getting stuck with those clothes is very painful. No reply by email

I used the WhatsApp query on the Cannock store website and made this enquiry “ Hi do you have Boss Slice shorts in stock size 50 ? I’d like black, grey and beige please?“ I did not get a reply even now 5 days later. I drove 20 miles to the store on Saturday and neither size were in stock. I bought a pair in black but the trip could have been prevented. If you are going to use digital customer service channels then use them properly I did also call twice but nobody answered the phone. Really poor service for such a nice brand. Please improve
Don't buy anything from Hugo Boss…
Don't buy anything from Hugo Boss especially as they are using UPS to deliver. I've been waiting 7 days now for my delivery which Nisa Local store (my choice of delivery address) will not release due to I have no bar code for the store to scan. Hugo Boss has a robot customer service which doesn't sort this error. I paid £4.99 postage costs. I'm a very disappointed customer with both Hugo Boss and UPS and would never ever order with neither of these companies again.
I'm often in Germany so when I'm there next week I will seek customer service from Hugo Boss head office and report this.
Items shrunk
I purchased 2 expensive items which when washed exactly according to the care labels, subsequently shrunk the first time they were washed and became unwearable. Hugo Boss have refused to offer any form of refund or exchange and say it is my fault for not following the care instructions when I clearly followed the instructions. This is unacceptable and I am very disappointed.

Visited Hugo Boss @Gunwharf today, and was helped by a wonderful team member Ryan. Nothing was too much trouble, he went through the stockroom for a certain top, as the system was not working. Apologised, that it wasn’t available, and then came to the tills to continue serving us ! Ryan is an absolute credit to the store, and a kind a pleasant, well mannered man .

Loyal customer lost
Lifelong Hugo Boss customer but won't be buying anything else. Always buy Boss Maine jeans due to quality and durability but the quality has dropped off a cliff. Complained to Boss and they offered me a 10% voucher on next purchase or a 15% refund...shocking.
Jeans lose shape terribly, fraying material and excessive fading after only 3 washes.
Do better Boss, you are supposed to be a premium brand.
