This is a Chinese company not UK inspite of its name. I ordered a wig but was debited twice. My emails were ignored initially but when the first wig arrived it was like a pantomime dame's wig. Wrong colour, cut and extremely thick. Not the sporty blond short wig I expected. I emailed but they don't answer questions, they have various stock answers. Another identical wig turned up and after getting nowhere I asked my bank for help. Nationwide were excellent. I got a full refund. i have offered to return the wigs but they will not send a prepaid label. They will keep pushing you to keep the wigs, offer to remake them etc and they ask you not to complain to your bank. Well please do if you have got as far as buying them before looking at reviews. Mine are now being offered to the local theatre company!

The worst customer service i’ve ever received, they are refusing to issue a refund for a misadvertised item. Disgusting company trying to scam money. Hardly respond to emails and ignore all content of the one sent and just beg for you to not ask for a refund even though the item is completely different to what I ordered. Horrible company do not use. Just trying to take peoples money even after sending the wrong item advertised completely wrong

There is no way to rate these scammers with a zero but they don’t deserve one star. I wish I had checked out Trustpilot before I placed my order.
The wig I received bore no resemblance whatsoever to the wig I ordered, it was very poor quality and badly made and not even fit for a pantomime dame!
Despite numerous emails it quickly became obvious that they had no intention of refunding my money, the best they could offer was for me to keep it and they would knock 10% off my next order. Next order!!! They are having a laugh.
I’m 70 years old and only have a State Pension so £100 is a lot for me to lose, I don’t know how they sleep in their beds at night.

Do not use this website. I ordered 1 wig but my account was debited twice. The 2 wigs that arrived looked nothing like the picture. I contacted them 3/4 times but they never replied. I have just got my money back from my bank through chargeback, thank God.

On checkup the website looks to be around 4 years old, and has what appeared to be genuine reviews. They put in some real effort to make it seem like they're based in the UK, so I ordered 3 100% remy human hair, monofilament, lace front wigs. They looked beautiful in the photos on their website. What I got were synthetic wigs of a horrible quality that looked nothing even similar to what I've ordered. The colors were wrong, except one which was black as ordered, but that is the only single thing that matched between my ordered and received goods. I tried to get a refund, but I kept getting the constant run around and deflection from these scammers that are trying to get out of it. They act like I'm unsatisfied with the order, when the fact is that I ordered high quality human hair wigs, and they sent me synthetic garbage that is worth maybe 10 euros each, while their scam cost me around 650 euros. After a dozen exachanged emails, and me getting nowhere, I asked them to stop contacting me and filed a chargeback order with my bank. Once the bank finally notified them of the chargeback, they started harassing me again, trying to intimidate me and force me to accept a refund that would still benefit them. They consistently refuse a full refund. I urge everyone to have a full exchange with them, and try to get them to refund, which they will refuse. I encourage you to file a chargeback claim with your bank, which under the consumer protection law you are fully entitled to. Don't let these people get away with scamming your money from you. You can notice fake reviews here, as well as on their site, but those do not hide so many real review all claiming the exact same modus operandi. Be careful.

I ordered an auburn wig from Howig because their website offered good customer service and return policy.
i received a black wig which is totally useless to me when i contacted them i was advised to keep it for 'spare' or to sell it... or if i sent them anther £40 they would make me another wig!
I have asked for a return label and invoice because i want a refund...
i am still waiting....i am very disapointed as i was led to believe they were a reputable company who care about their customers DO NOT BUY FROM HOWIG....unfortunately I was duped by their own 'reviews'.
Before i use another company i will check with trustpilot.

In May 2020 I purchased a wig for my Daughter who issadly losing her hair it cost £130 . It did not fit for number 1 it was nothing like the photo .....it was a totally different length. When I contacted the company for a return address , they would not give me one , they then proceeded to keep sending e.mails to my private e.mail instead of paypal who I had used to pay for it . I finally put in a complaint to PayPal who sided with the howig company and told me to try with my bank to see if they could help, I did as asked and went back to PayPal .I sent an e.mail to customer services only to be told that they could not deal with my problem , so I am left with £130 wig that is disgusting ad no back up from anywhere AVOID HOWIG AT ALL COST.THEY ARE RIP OFF MERCHANTS.This needs to be stopped this company is conning many many people and we are left with giving this company hundreds of pounds for sweet nothing .

They advertised real hair but sent synthetic hair. I tried to cancel before they shipped but they refuse to cancel the order. They emailed me saying Trustpilot did not give an accurate reflection of their wigs but the reviews I read did, their wigs are cheap £20 joke shop wigs. Their website is a con job from start to finish. Stay well away from this crowd of Chinese gangsters. I have complained to Paypal in the small hope of recovering something from this experience. Im £300 out of pocket for a wig that looks like a mop head. They only have a co.uk site address to try and fool people into thinking they are buying from a UK company. Forget all your consumer rights with these people, the wigs looks nothing like the wig on their website. Its complete rubbish.
