AWFUL DO NOT USE

Would give 0 if there was the option. Broken and damaged boards. Cannot call anyone. Emails went back and forth for 2 months. Let down before Christmas. Useless company. Had to go through bank to get money back. Scam

Cant contact at all!! Dont buy - AVOID AVOID

we received the hover board no issues! 6 months in develops a fault so we contact - Appears no issue, they agree its faulty and they ask us to get fixed and they will pay. I wasn't too happy with this so questioned this and since then we have not had a response to any emails at all. We must have sent over 20 emails just asking for some contact but nothing! Cant find any contact details on line for these people. AVOID AVOID AVOID! £170 down the toilet. Nothing more frustrating! Now pursuing legal routes to recover money.

Dont buy from this site

Dont buy from this site. My hoverboard is faulty and contacted them to help resolve the problem as to why it was faulty and emails were exchanged a couple of times but they soon started to ignore when they realised I was still under warranty. Very very poor dont buy from this site

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, bought a hover board with seat £189 for my daughters birthday, literally just out of 12 month warranty, not used either through winter months, it’s out of control, dangerous to use, tried numerous times to email to request advice, no replies, obviously not interested in after sales, no number to contact so purely relying on them replying, read receipt on and email not read, do they even exist!!

Don’t be fooled by a good website

Don’t be fooled by a good website, bought 3 hoverkart seats 2 fell apart in minutes welding split. Took 3 weeks of emails to get my money back filed a complaint through PayPal in the end. It’s not a uk company you have to email someone in China. Will not use again

Scooter arrived with an electrical fault it took 15 emails to go through there system as they want to know everything that could be up with it including sending several videos via utube uploads which was a bit frustrating but within 2 week received a full refund and got to keep the scooter (quire simple to fix with a bit of a google) not the best returns policy 24 hours inbetween each email and they don't reply over weekend but its done now wouldn't buy from them again purely because it wasn't any cheaper than high street where I could just go hand it back on the day

Avoid this company

Hoverboard arrived faulty still trying to get a refund 28 emails later, I have asked for address to return so many times they will not give it also will not give a phone number ……. Not holding my breath after reading the reviews 😢

I only gave 1star as it wasn’t possible to do none!!!! This product is the biggest waste of money. It does not work, my son got this as a birthday present and has used it only 4 times and now it won’t work. I have tried to contact the company which took 3 days for a reply and now I’m only getting short emails telling me I need to try things out. I’ve tried these things and none everything they have suggested BUT still doesn’t change a thing. They are extremely slow at emailing back. Which I find utterly unacceptable. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY you will regret it!!!!!!!!

Never buy from hoverboardx bought 2…

Never buy from hoverboardx bought 2 hoverkarts from them £279 each one segway stopped charging after a month and the other the kart never attached properly and wouldn't work. Put the kart that worked on the segway that worked and asked for a refund for the other, said I had to send it back in the post at my own expense, after months of emails back and forth, no phone number! I agreed to take £200 for it, then when the money never appeared in my pay pal account, they now just ignore my emails!

AVOID - Absolutely awful - do not use

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. My hoverboard never worked after several very unhelpful emails from them (in broken English) they decided that it must be either the charger or battery but I had to source these things to try as they wouldn’t provide replacement parts or item. I tried a friends charger and battery and discovered it was the battery but they were still unwilling to send a replacement battery or allow me to return hoverboard to them so I had to open a dispute through PayPal which was found in my favour and was given a £100 refund to cover the cost of a new battery. This was a hassle I could have done without, especially as it was a birthday gift for my daughter.

I bought a hoverboard last year for my…

I bought a hoverboard last year for my sons birthday, from the first go it has been faulty.
Contacted customer services and was directed to a YouTube page for calibration instructions which were no use.
They have now stopped replying to me, £219 down the tube.
Please stay away from this company and save yourself time and money

Chinese company (BEWARE)

I like many others fell for their trap by how they appear at the top of the first page on Google. This is because they spend stupid amounts of money on Google ads and marketing. They come across as if they are UK owned company but in fact are Chinese. The products they sell are very cheaply manufactured and are completely mis-sold in terms of their specifications. Unfortunately I read the bad reviews after I had already made the purchase, lo and behold my hoverboard arrived and was faulty. After two weeks of back and forth conversations with them to get a refund, they refunded £160 to PayPal but I paid £189.99. I am now in dispute with them over this matter.

Ultimately stay clear of this company !

Never use this company

We ordered a hoverboard kart bundle from this company for my daughterd birthday, it arrived damaged beyond belief, it was cracked, wheel was bent and screws fallen out ! We emailed them and sent photos and raised a dispute with paypal, the company contacted us and apologised saying we needed to drop the dispute so they can send us a new one without dropping tje dispute they couldnt process a replacement to be dispatched, we dropped the dispute and since then they have made every excuse to delay sending another ! Emails back and forth daily for 3 weeks now and still not sent us anything and completely ignoring our request for a refund. I have reported the company and seeking legal advice now. Do not trust these people they are not uk based complete frauds and basically robbed us of £200

Stay away from this company!

Communication is absolutely poor. In returning a hoverboard back the process was painfully long. I was lied to several times when enquiring about my return when asking about my refund. Each email they sent gave mis-information. It was stressful getting my money back. It was a lucky thing that I kept my receipt save from the post office for my recorded delivery otherwise the company would have scammed me out of my money and item claiming they did not receive the package. It took over a month to get my money back. Unacceptable!

Impressive customer support

I am so impressed with the level of customer support provided by hoverboardx. I ordered two hoverboards but one hoverboard and one go-kart kit were delivered instead. I emailed customer support who responded the same day, requesting photos of address labels, bar codes etc. Having supplied these, they confirmed that the correct hoverboard would be sent to me. This was on 21 December and I was convinced it would arrive after Christmas. Amazingly, it arrived on 22 December. My two grandchildren will be delighted. All companies make mistakes - it's the way that they respond to mistakes that distinguishes the average companies from the great ones.
