Misleading Sizing, Delayed Shipping, and No Real Accountability
I ordered a medium-sized shirt from Valeno (LUCERANO) on April 11. It didn’t arrive until May 29 — almost seven weeks later. And when it finally did? The label on the shirt said Extra Large!!
My first email to their customer service was just to ask where my order was. Their response? Once it leaves their facility, they’re no longer responsible. That’s already a red flag.
After I received the shirt and saw it was labeled XL, I reached out again. That’s when they sent me a completely confusing size conversion chart that claimed:
Ordered Medium → Label Shows XL
Ordered Small → Label Shows L
Ordered X-Small → Label Shows M
Ordered Large → Label Shows 2XL
…and so on.
Apparently, this is how they label their shirts — but at no point during the purchase was this made clear. No size warning, no conversion chart at checkout, nothing. How is anyone supposed to know they’re expected to order a different size than what they actually wear?
The shirt did not fit. I asked for return instructions and a refund. Their response? I would have to pay for return shipping from the U.S. to Australia—even though the sizing issue was entirely on their end.
I eventually told them I’d keep the shirt and share my experience publicly. Their reply was polite but made it clear they wouldn’t be taking further responsibility.
So here it is: I cannot recommend this company. The sizing is misleading, the shipping takes forever, and customer service—while professional—offers no real solutions. Buyers, beware.
