Sandra looked after our cat Martha.
Everyday Sandra sent a text with a photo and we could see the trust building up as the week went on. It was so nice to see as Martha is a very nervous cat and is frightened of strangers. Sandra gained her trust very easily. So we could relax and enjoy our holiday knowing that Martha was being so well looked after and happy.
Another bonus was that the house was all clean and tidy when we arrived home which was lovely.

We had 4 weeks away leaving our 3 dogs with Mick and Polli. They cared for an elderly labrador and 2 golden retrievers including a young lively retriever. The dogs were very well cared for and we came back to 3 happy dogs and a clean tidy home. We would not hesitate to have them sit again for us and can recommend them to others.

Dave did a great job at finding some very good possibilities for people who could house sit at the last minute, which meant we could go on holiday. Ania was our housesitter who looked after our home and animals (dog, cat, bird, pet rats) very well and kept them all happy.

Ian arrived on the Friday before we left and immediately became part of the family. Great messages and photos whilst we were away and came back to a house that was cleaner than when I left it. On our return I bumped into my neighbour who is an extremely fussy dog lover with three of her own. She didn’t ask about my holiday but immediately greeted me with ‘Well your dogs had Rolls Royce treatment when you were away. Ian was so good, you couldn’t have had better’. Well I don’t think there is a better review than that !

Alan was punctual, responsible, and paid great attention during our hand-over. Which involved a flock of rescue hens, several rescue hedgehogs, and a large rescue Norwegian Forest Cat.

He came a day early to get his eye in, and didn't bother us once during our 6 days away. Am sure he'd have sent us updates/pix if we'd asked. We found him to be charming, intelligent and really interested in life, and enjoyed staying here taking care of the animals, and watering our greenhouse plants. And of course making sure the place and surrounding land didn't come to any harm.

We live very remotely so if there was a fire/problem with the place unattended, we'd be scuppered. We'd recommend him - and of course Dave Price who runs the company professionally and efficiently - very highly to anyone wishing to have a good guardian for their home/pets/animals while they're away. Just wanted to leave a review about our 5 star experience with House & Home sitters experience. We were very fortunate to have the amazing Sarah Andrews come and look after our menagerie whilst we went on holiday. Never having used a service like this I was a bit worried but I did not need to be. Communication with the company was A1 from start to finish. Sarah and I had a video call before she came which was great and put my mind at rest. She loved all our animals whilst we were away with lots of pictures and updates. House looked like a show home when I returned. Cannot fault a thing. I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much xx

Outstanding experience from start to finish! Dave was super helpful when we started the process giving clear instructions. I like the fact that it is a bespoke service where he matches potential sitters for you. We have two VIPs (very important pets) that needed looking after too and Dave found us the perfect sitter in Debbie. She was exceptional and the cats were pampered so much that I think they enjoyed us being away! Regular updates along with videos and photos meant we always felt connected. If you are looking for the best in the business then contact Dave - worth every single penny.

Our first time with House & Home sitters and the first for this particular pet, so we approached it all with a degree of apprehension. Fortunately there was no need to worry. The sitter Jonathan met with all our expectations. He very quickly bonded with our cat - who was very happy and relaxed when we returned home. Dave offers advice and an efficient well managed service. He and Jonathan gave us peace of mind.

I have used House & Home sitters a few times now and have always been really impressed with the service they offer. They are reliable and always quick to respond to any queries.

We had Vicky as our pet sitter this time and would highly recommend her. We have 2 large dogs, one of which is very anxious and reactive when out on walks. She managed fine with both, kept in contact with regular updates and pictures and I even had my neighbours messaging me to say how nice she was and how happy my dogs were.
The house was left very tidy and clean, even had clean bedsheets on the bed ready for when we got home!

Super efficient service from David and Richard our house-sitter couldn’t have been more helpful. It was wonderful to know that our cats were being well looked after. We will definitely use House & Home Sitters again.

Melinda took such good care of my dog, and sent me pictures periodically, which also made me feel assured. She left the house in better shape than I left it- also a plus!

5* service. We were absolutely delighted with Dave, his service and Mark our wonderful house sitter! Our beloved Cockapoo, Mabel, fell in love with Mark from the minute she met him and he took such wonderful care of her (and her home). It is always difficult to leave our girl (hardest part about going on holiday), but Mark put us such ease, he kept us posted and sent regular updates and we came home to a very happy and relaxed doggo and beautifully maintained home. Once again Dave came up trumps by sending the wonderful Bernie to look after our Frenchie, Hugo, whilst we went on holiday. Hugo loves having visitors to wrap around his little paws! And he took to Bernie immediately. We had regular updates which reassured us that all was well.
We returned to a lovely clean and tidy house and fresh bedding, towels and even flowers.
This is the 2nd time we have used House & Home Sitters, another later this year and will definitely use next year.

This is our first experience using House and Home Sitters and we were delighted with their quick and efficient response in allocating us Nick and Angela to help look after our dog and cat over a long weekend. They both did a thorough, diligent, reliable and fantastic job and we certainly will be using their services in the future. It really gave us peace of mind to be leaving our home and furbies in safe hands whilst we were away and we were gratefully updated on a daily basis. Thanks once again.

This is our 4th time using House & Home Sitters, and every time is just fantastic knowing that we can go and disconnect fully into our vacation without worrying whether our home and long list of pets will be well taken care of.

Our sitter, Bernie, is fantastic. Funny, industrious and very knowledgeable about permaculture and gardening. He takes great care of our plants, and makes sure our furry companions are healthy, fed, and in high spirits.

We will definitely continue using their services until they tell us to stop ;)

This was our first experience of using House & Home Sitters and we are so pleased Dave and his team were recommended to us. It was a first to have someone in our own home in our absence, but Dave communicated so well with us that it felt natural. He gave us confidence that he would link us with the perfect house sitters for our two dogs, fish and rural setting - and he certainly did. We were matched with Christine and David who kindly came a day earlier so they could see how everything worked, the best commands and approach for the dogs as well as managing their raw diets. It was a pleasure to have their company before we left for our 2.5 week holiday.

Before even leaving for our holiday, it was clear our dogs felt cosy and relaxed with Christine and David. Both Christine and David showed a natural affection for our two hounds. We had photos of the dogs on numerous walks while on holiday, good message updates hearing the fun antics such as unexpected long walks getting lost in the woods (we’ve all done it!). The fish were happy, the dogs were happy, and we could relax knowing everything was working out well for all.

Christine and David also made a hit with the village as they got involved in village hall activities and nattered to everyone they met. On our return the neighbours spoke of them very warmly and really hope they will visit again.

Christine and David were great communicators and very considerate. One of our party suffered a knee injury whilst on holiday and was on crutches. We were unaware of a road issue back home, and Christine recognised that the road resurfacing that was taking place on our day of return would hinder the access to our home. She and David went out their way to find the foreman to explain the situation and ensure we had access to our home. It was a very helpful and kind intervention which meant that we were hassle free on getting to our front door.

We would not hesitate to use House and Home Sitters again, and thank Dave, Christine and David for giving us such a great service and showing such enormous kindness

Dave was very efficient in organising our sitters, Gaynor and Joanne. Gaynor contacted us beforehand and made sure she arrived in time to be shown around the property and introduced to our dogs.
we felt very comfortable leaving our dogs and house with them and came home to a tidy home and happy dogs, thank you

Kenny and Delia came to care for our flat/animals while we were on holiday this past week, and did a terrific job! We received daily pictures and updates, and our home was so clean and tidy upon our return. We look forward to having them come back for our next assignment, and feel very lucky to have found them! Dave quickly and efficiently arranged for Sue to look after our 2 lively dogs and cat in our rural home.

Sue was a pleasure to meet and the pets were clearly happy and well looked after for 4 nights. We had confidence in leaving Sue to look after them and our house.
