AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! We had a terrible experience, thousands of pounds worth of belongings damaged. Moved 10 minutes around the corner and what a shambles. Be aware that when you claim for damages it takes weeks and you only receive a percentage of cost depending on damage so replacement isn’t paid for. The amount we were reimbursed was comical especially with the £700 plus we paid for the initial cover taken off. Full of apologies yet not willing to do anything about it, everything was a fight. Hate leaving bad reviews but our experience was so dreadful I had to. Treat you like a fool by giving all of the staff fancy job titles to portray a professionally run business which is far from the case!

Prompt arrival
The men arrived on time, worked really hard to get everything into the van. They were friendly, didn’t stop for lunch so we were not held up. They were careful with our belongings and tried several time to get a wardrobe up the stairs, but the space was too small.

My move from London to the NE of England
Hoults have moved my home contents from a 3 bed apartment in SE London to North East England which included 2 days of storage. The move was well orchestrated with care being taken with all of my belongings and are now safely and efficiently placed in my new home. Thank you so much to the friendly, cheerful and helpful team, Dave, Aaron and Harry. I would use Hoults again.

A job well done!
The guys from Hoults were very professional and respectful of my property. Everything was well packed to prevent any damage.
Everyone I spoke to was lovely and friendly and the people that came to remove and redeliver my furniture were very helpful. They dismantled my book shelves and helped me reassemble them after giving me time to clean them before putting them back in position.
This is the third time I've used the company to move my furniture, including shipping it to Belgium, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move house or needing to temporarily store furniture for any reason.
In the 74 boxes I had there was only one small item damaged.

House Move
The Hoults staff turned up promptly on the morning of our move from our home to take our possessions into storage. They took steps to protect our property from any damage and worked extremely quickly and efficiently. They liaised constantly with us to ensure they complied with how we wanted things stored. Their staff were pleasant and courteous at all times.

10/10 communication at all times. I had full confidence in Megan managing our international move. She was professional, kind and efficient in all aspects. I hope I never move internationally again, but if I do I would look to Hoults to help navigate the experience.

Excellent service and communication…
Excellent service and communication from start to finish.
Packing service completed by 3 excellent staff, polite and professional.
Removal completed the following day by 4 staff, (2 from the previous day). Lead man, Phil was amazing, went the extra mile to get an extra large sofa in! All staff worked extremely hard both days, well worth the cost for a very professional service. Highly recommended.

Joe the Hoult a removal man
Joe was the great guy who moved me from London to northumberland in snowy weather conditions.
He was extremely experienced, managed the local packers in London and then the 2 local unpacked in northumberland. Everything was clearly labelled, carefully packed into the van with great skill but mostly maneuvered the van on arrival in icy snow y conditions, laid down floor coverings and organised everything perfectly. Without him things may not have run so smoothly. Hoults are lucky to have him

The team were brilliant.
The team were brilliant.
From booking they were brilliant gave us boxes before we had a date - took a little while for delivery but dropped them off for us nonetheless!
On the moving day- day before they were unreal for 90% of things and left us ‘comfortable’ for the night with beds and a sofa etc they were brilliant!
Also all of the boxes we used are getting picked up at some point soon I hope so we don’t need to dispose of them :)
At the new house they were great checked where we wanted things and the guys were just so nice -Andy and ‘Stretch’ were unbelievable
Highly recommend!
Never moving again a sits so stressful but if I was I would 100% use these guys again :)

Excellent experience from start to…
Excellent experience from start to finish. Euan who carried out the initial meeting for the quote was lovely and polite, very thorough and explained everything. Megan was lovely and kept us updated, responded promptly to any queries we had and talked us through the logistics for the day. Gav and his team were excellent on the day, so friendly, put us all at ease and they didn't stop! They really looked after our furniture and belongings, packed the truck quickly and made sure everything was put in the right room at the other end. They made sure the furniture was positioned where we wanted and checked to see if there was anything else they could help with. Honestly they took all the stress out of the whole process and we would recommend Hoults to anyone!

Ver smooth move
The guys were efficient in moving our stuff especially packing my precious china, which all arrived unbroken. Both ends went smoothly and we were glad to take the late key waiver as our keys were not available until 3 pm. I had other quotes and one was cheaper but did not seem professional and the other was more expensive, so we were glad we picked Hoults.
