I got the Complete Wok Pro 12 KW set. The customer service has been stellar! Dennis immediately mailed me back and arranged a slight modification I requested in my order, and double checked everything to make sure it will arrive properly! The set arrived a few days later and I waited to set it up properly and use it before posting a review. And I was impressed. The cast iron is sturdy and beautiful, not some flimsy contraption. The burner air intake is very easy to adjust by hand and on the fly to get the perfect flame. Don't panic if the flames go out at first ignition, just turn the air intake screws almost to their full depth and the flames get stable.

From there on, the wok seasoning went flawlessly, and 30 minutes later I had a perfect stir fry.

Two words of caution:

1. Have everything chopped and ready before starting, this thing gets so hot that you can afford no delay in adding the ingredients

2. The flame is so strong that -only on the 30m wok-, a tongue of flame occasionally escapes from the side the regulator is located. Not a big issue, but if you notice it simply have your hand a few degrees or just slightly turn the burner so the flame doesn't hit you straight on the hand.

All in all it's an amazin product, and the people at Hot Wok are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend it!

Unbelievably bad wok.
The inner surface is as smooth as gravel.. full of machining defects. And the handle, it went loose just from the seasoning. Stir frying is impossible when the wok dingles around independently of how you move the handle. Buy ANYTHING else than this useless planned obsolescense, fake named junk. It's like buying a car from a brand that's called "drive car". Unoriginal. Gentrified waste of ressources for profit.

It's the rivets fixing the handle to the wok itself, like others describe.
There's only 2 rivets, a recipe for failure. There's a reason why all other woks have 3 rivets, fixing the handle to the wok. Because it gives it sideways stability.
This one only has 2, making it go loose. Even if I take it to a blacksmith and have the rivets hammered to fix it tight to the wok, it will go loose again just as quick.
I don't know why i would want 2 hotwoks. They're both going to have handles flopping around, as soon as i start using them.
The fact that you're not sure if it's the wok or the gasburner, just from reading my initial review, tells me that you can't be serious. It should be glaringly obvious.
I talked about the handle only, and mentioned nothing about gas, stove, burner or anything other than wok and handle.
I bought a real wok instead.
Oddly enough the brands of no other wok producer i've found, have the word wok in their brand name.
And they of course all have 3 rivets. For an obvious reason.
From what i can see elsewhwere online, all the hotwok woks i've seen the same signs of cheap machining and hence a rough uneven surface inside.
If at least it was considerably cheaper than real woks, i'd be ok with it being a cheap wok with a handle not properly riveted to the wok, but the price is the same. Only reason i bought this wok was the availability.
I sure won't make that mistake again. I'll avoid your brand. Ciao

Ordered from Ireland, delivery was very, very reasonable and shipping was quick. Items well packaged.

I bought a 12kw wok burner, wind shield, wok, hose and regulator. The burner is heavy and high quality. The wind blocker is a little small but it works and the whole set is reasonably priced.

The burner produces a nice amount of heat... for my skill level (just learning wok) it's almost too much! I managed to create great wok hay on the first dish that I cooked, the flame licked into the wok and set the excess oil on fire, lovely smoky flavour as a result.

I am very happy overall with my experience and the wok burner itself, and would recommend to anyone.
