Horrible experience with hotpoint. The engineer never turned up, they just drove over and told me that I didn’t pick up my phone while I was holding my phone for the whole morning.
My dishwasher was broken when it arrived, now it has been a month, no one come to fix it.

I ordered my new fridge freezer through Argos on the Wednesday, and it was in situ by the Friday.
Hotpoint immediately contacted me to arrange the delivery of my new fridge freezer, and collection of my old one.
The contact team were polite, friendly and efficient, as were the delivery team.
They came within the time slot provided and they called 15 minutes prior to let me know they were on their way.
It was a faultless experience from start to finish and I am more than happy with my new fridge freezer.

I purchased a Hotpoint Fabricare washing machine with a 12kg drum. I specifically asked the sales rep for anything that does not change the timings of the wash mid-cycle and was assured this product didn't do that. However, I have yet to do a "45 minute full load" wash that took less than 90 minutes. It has displayed 1 minute remaining for 15 minutes before actually finishing.
In addition, on full loads it does not spin at all 50% of the time, but fails to show an error message so it shows the wash as complete but when opening the door, the washing inside is sopping wet still, even when set on a 1400 spin cycle.
Having spoken to customer service, it appears that the self-analysing feature is not a fault, nor is the issue about not giving an error message with the machine decides to complete a spin cycle without actually spinning. According to Hotpoint, the fact it was mis-sold to me as without this feature is not Hotpoint's issue, nor will the store take it back unless it's faulty OR in the original packaging so it looks like I'm stuck with this now. I was offered to have an engineer come out, but if no fault was found then I would be charged a £75 call out fee. I believe the fault is not the machine itself, rather than the design of it.
It is not too much to ask that when the timer says 45 minutes, the cycle finishes in 45 minutes. It is also not too much to ask that if the machine analyses the load as too much, or too heavy and doesn't spin it, to display an error message.

We waited around 4 weeks for the delivery then the delivery guys dropped the oven on the way into the house. It was dented quite badly in I've side, they then proceeded to bring it in and ask where we wanted it. Only when confronted with the damage was anything done. A £50 discount was offered or a new unit by next week. We decided on the new unit but it took 2 weeks to be delivered. Not a good experience.

Well I’m not sure who is to blame here…. I ordered my fridge freezer via Argos and they used hotpoint to carry out my order I had the additional recycling item added to my order but for some reason or another hotpoint decided to cancel this…. My question is when did they cancel or say they will only deliver my new item and not take away my old appliance? Why did Argos not get notified of this change or if they where notified why was nothing done to ensure that my old appliance would be recycled as promised when ordering?? The delivery itself if it had been just for my new item I can’t complain they done that very well…. It’s just what happened with the recycling of the old appliance that annoyed me

I am a little surprised and disappointed. I ordered oven built in. The guys were nice but they left the oven electricity not working. Also, the cabined door was removed but they did not installed back to its original place. Really unhappy. I am going to ask the electrician and carpenter to come and fix the damage. I am not sure why i paid for installment?
