Hotels.com did not confirm a reservation to my email address so when I cancelled a few bookings free of charge this reservation was left live. I was then charged nearly £200 for a no show in Montenegro.
Without a confirmation or other communication I am struggling to get hotels.com to refund this. Also my card provider isn’t interested.
How can a company book on my behalf and provide my payment details to a 3rd party without confirming the contract with me.
Beware!!!
This company are a total scam. They advertise fake low prices per night, eg. £28.90 then when selected for a week stay, the price is over £600. Please report this site to Google.
Scam company. They try to block your reviews. And they try to take your points. The discounts and points and useless. Better to book direct. They once tried to place me in another region completely from the booking. May take more action cuz they just try to give you points and try to take them away
I am the owner of a holiday let property that is being advertised on their website without any agreement or knowledge of them doing so! I have tried to contact them to take the advert down without success! Do not use this company or any related company eg Planet Hotels etc
Best hotels in the UK .Every faciltiy in this hotels. Very Humble staff .Quailty of food is great.
Booked two rooms thru this hotels.uk.com company, allmost got charged for six rooms by booking.com.
I had to pay 330£ penalty because of hotels.uk.com.
Went online to book a hotel, only to land on hotels.uk.com and several parent sites of QBGs.
Honestly, I'm absolutely disgusted by the poor standard of security. Customer & payment data are insecure & use a protocol from 1996; in breach of PCI compliance. Even the most rudimentary of checks fail, despite the privacy policy stating they take security seriously.
Very lucky I didn't enter any personal info. Would avoid if you value your identity.
