Bought from france an iPhone6

Bought from france an iPhone6, received after few weeks. At first look and all, it s look good. A real refurbish item with care. I would rating 4stars ( not 5 coz of shipping delay)
but... less after less than one month the phone doesn't work anymore as a telephone. Call and had diagnostic with Apple before sending back to them now they changed co name to Gadgetstore). And they ask me my appleID, even I ve sent them capture than this device is not associated anymore. I feel trapped, and know to react with them

Apparently Ceased Trading….. no warranty support, no returns,

We bought an iPhone5C thru mighty deals from this company, after a couple of weeks it started losing the ability to tell the time, as the clock freezes….. we followed the return process, and the phone eventually came back to us, unopened, returned by royal mail, as the company never took delivery, and their phone numbers are no longer in service. a search online lists their status as "In liquidation" …..

Connned by them. Don't waste your money!

They sent it one month later and broken, when I managed to contact them and fulfill the requirments to send it back for repair. They sent ir back still broken! I explained what was going on but did not read the previous email. Now I sent it back again, but they just "won't find it". 28 emails later they are still asking me the same questions as 2 emails before, wasting my time untill there is no warranty or who-knows when.
Don't buy it here, it's better to save a bit more and buy the original or if you want to waste your money give it to charity or to your local corrupted politician

Do not buy from Hot Bargain Phones

After reading some of the other reviews, I think I may have faired slightly better, unfortunately my phone was just outside the years warrenty when the problems started. My battery now dies constantly but more worrying is that it gets very hot, unfortunately where I live we do not have an Apple shop so whilst in Norwich at the weekend I took it into the store there to see what might be causing the problem with it. I was horrified to find out that the phone that I bought was already a year old, before I bought it. It once had a home in France, it had an insurance claim against it and had already been repaired once for the very same problem !!! There is nothing that I can do about it now. I have contacted Groupon but have heard nothing back . Don't not buy from this company, I just wish that I had read these reviews prior to buying it but stupidly assumed that Groupon would only trade with reputable companies, obviously not!! Very silly really really as I will not be using Groupon again either !

Sales damaged phone. No service at all...

Bought the iPhone 5c in May 2015 and sent it back in August because it shuts off and I could not restart it. After more than one month (!) I recieved the repaired device and after a few weeks it shows the same problems again. And now I could not restart the phone anymore. I tried to contact HBP but I get no reaction on my new claim. Very bad customer service, no communication. Don't buy from this seller, except you want to buy a damaged phone.

Hot bargain phones

Do not ever purchase a phone from these crooks!

Poor service, and terrible manners on behalf of those who take the calls on the phones.

My phone never arrived despite them taking the money and then they claimed they did not receive any payment! My bank had already confirmed that the payment had gone out.

It is almost 6 weeks since I placed the order and still have not received my money back!

Avoid them like the plague!

Horrible service

I bought phone from that company and after 8 months I had a problem with the signal. I have contact with them and I was ask to send it to them. Phone came back to me after two weeks not fixed and without screws in it so I contact with company again and I was told that they could not fixed it because it was outside damage ( I have not even a mark on phone) so I sent photos. I was asked to send my phone again and after 3 weeks it was no word from them about it. When I send a question when my phone will be fixed they told me that it will be replaced because they are unable to fixed it and after 4 weeks I got it back the same phone without screws with note warranty expired. So it looks like they was waiting until my warranty will finish probably didn't even look at it.

Completely unreliable

I ordered my phone on the 26th of August and it is now the 17th of October and I am still not happy. When my phone eventually came there was a fault and had to be sent back to get fixed. I am only after recieving my "repaired" phone now and this has a new different fault in it. Staff communication is also very poor . I really wouldn't waste my time with them again.

Horrible service, horrible phones

I After with everything other People Said. I have a refurbished phone that does not work. I e mailed them and got a email back right away. After doping what they told me-- reset it with iTunes, it stil did not work! I send them a mail again and they replied with the EXACT SAME mail. They probably send that mail to everyone who has a complaint. I dont trust them at all and I need my money back. I dont need a phone from a unreliable company. The worst ever!!

Appalling

Another horrifying review. I agree with everything that has been said (except for the single positive review, that I personally do not believe). I purchased the phone. The microphone was broken, sent it for repair. I wonder if they repaired anything since there was no change. After a lot of back and forth e-mailing with the 'customer care' (the worst ever) it sort of became clear I could not get a refund but would receive a new phone. I am now awaiting this (but expecting another awful one after reading all these terrible reviews) but already they are notifying me they are checking the phone, so might as well receive the broken one back for a third time......I can't believe Groupon works with this company and I think they should take responsibility for it!

Beware !! FAKE Company selling damaged phones !

This company rips you off- although they distribute their phones through Groupon. Against the odds this time Groupon cooperates with a dirty retailer who offers you a bargain which turns out to be totally unworkable. Anyone else being fooled by their ruthless strategy ? We should stick together in this and firstly file a complaint to Grupon in terms of this company which evidently has a criminal intent and secondly contact lawyers. I am not going to stop until the place shuts down and costumers are being compensated.

Shocking service! Sells faulty phones and then fobs customers off!

Purchased iPhone 5c via Groupon. Within a day or two it became obvious that the phone was faulty! Would crash constantly, wouldn't open or download apps, kept turning off and finally got to the stage where it was constantly needing recovered. Took the phone in to Apple specialist who diagnosed 12 faults with phone. Returned phone to company 13 days after receipt and as governed by the rights of the Sale of Goods act asked for a full refund.
Received no communication from Hot Bargain phones and returned home from work 5 days later to find instead of issuing my refund they had just returned the exact same faulty phone back to me, with no communication as to an explanation. When I contacted them to ask why it had been returned their response was that the screen was faulty and had been repaired! The same day I received the phone back I discovered that the problems that caused me to send the phone back to them in the first place were still there. This was on the 28th April. I have spent every day since then contacting them and asking for a refund. The phone now has a blank red screen. It cannot be accessed or turned off and is effectively useless! I took it back to Apple who advised it was in a state of 'kernel panic" and is basically unrepairable!!
Hot Bargain Phones are refusing to refund me and are insisting that I return the phone again, at my own expense, for repair. Why would I even consider doing that when they have proven themselves as untrustworthy already. Their Customer service is shocking. They refuse to address any of my questions relating to the first request for a refund. They have accused me on Facebook of "misusing the phone and then complaining, and of trying to blackmail them in order to receive compensation." All I am trying to do is exert my legal rights for a refund of goods which are not fit for purpose.
I am not ready to give up on this battle yet and intend to take the matter further. But my advise to consumers would be to avoid this company and spend your money elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM HOT BARGAIN PHONES!

Hot Bargain Phones is selling refurbished iphones through Groupon.se that work for only a few weeks. I purchased an iphone 4s through Groupon. I received it in January and by the middle of February it was no longer functioning at all. When I tried to return it for a refund or replacement, they claim that they did not sell it to me because the IMEI number does not match one in their database.

I sent back the exact phone they sent me, but they claim it was not one of theirs, so they will not refund my money. There is no way I have to prove that this is, in fact, the phone they sent me because the IMEI number is not stated on any paperwork or communications regarding the sale.

I have since looked up the company's reviews and found that I am not alone in my experience with them.

I have informed Groupon of the situation, and reported them to the UK authorities for fraud.
