I have used Hosting Power a number of times as a host and have found them to be professional, efficient and most importantly easy to contact and speedy in their reply to emails and other communication methods. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as a company to deal with.

I have been using Hosting Power for a few years now and even got a neighbour to join. They respond quickly to queries and always willing to help. The only action required is either yes or no to the clients that make a request. All documentation is provided, should there be any problems they are there to help. There are a variety of different clients from different countries you decide who you want and for how long their stay should be, the choice is up to you. Would recommend them to anyone.

Hosting power are a great company, They recommend guests for you who are vetted and checked. Giving you peace of mind.

We have been using Hostng Power for over 7 yesrs. It has mostly been a great experience except for a small number of situations such as a guest cancelling before they arrived and leaving early. The system they use is good and self assuring. The vetting process is good. Everything is in print such as house rules payment schedule etc. I would recommend them.

I've been taking students from here alot and im quite happy with hosting power. I find it great because it give you the opportunity to read something about the person your taking into your home so you have the choice to except or decline them.

🚨 WARNING: My experience with Hosting Power – urgent help needed

I am sharing this because I genuinely don’t know what else to do at this point.

I am a scholarship student preparing to move to Dublin for my studies, and I recently used Hosting Power to secure accommodation.

Unfortunately, I have had a very difficult experience. Hosting Power took the service fee from my account, but I currently have no confirmed accommodation booking that I agreed to proceed with.

I contacted them multiple times and submitted a formal complaint yesterday, explaining the situation and urgently requesting a refund. I have received no response.

What makes this even more serious is that the money was initially pending, but it has now been taken from my account.

I had already explained to them that I am a scholarship student and I simply do not have enough money available to pay another accommodation service fee or pursue another booking while my money is being held/charged by Hosting Power.

I do not want the alternative room they assigned to me. I want my money back so that I can arrange accommodation myself.

At this point, I am honestly extremely frustrated and concerned. This experience feels like a scam, especially when a company takes service fees, does not provide the booking I agreed to, and then does not respond when the customer urgently asks for help.

If anyone has:

Experienced a similar situation with Hosting Power
Successfully received a refund from them
Knows how to escalate a complaint against them
Has advice on what I can do now
Please comment or message me. I urgently need advice because I need accommodation for my studies and currently cannot afford to pay for another booking.

I am sharing this publicly because I believe other students, especially international and scholarship students with limited funds, should be aware of this experience before paying any fees.

Hosting Power, I am asking you to respond to my complaint and return my money urgently.

I'm with Hosting power a long time and have always found them a pleasure to work with.

I found hosting power to be a great website/company to use as a host. Its really easy to upload your details, you can speak to someone via text, and get answers to your queries immediately.
It took me about 2 weeks to find a suitable tenant for my apartment.
All the necessary documents are sent immediately to you, which means there is really no work for you to do.
