I'm a customer of HostEurope since 2008. I am excited by their very stable contract conditions. In detail: Between 2012/2013 there was a minor adjustment for my web package, with minimal price increasing but also with increasing the quotas e.g. for traffic, space and E-Mails. The availability my hosted web presence at HostEurope is outstanding. In 10 years nearly no down time is great!
The administration of my web package is easy and there is a great documentation. I like it very much.
After 10 years I had opened my first issue ticket and got supported immediatly:

I got a guide what I should configure to solve the issue - but the very friendly and competent employee did this already for me.
* Explaining:
There was also an link to the technical details and the reason
This was the absolutly best support experience that I had so far! Great thanks to this top employee at HostEurope.
It's amazing to have such an experience nowadays and that HostEurope is able to enthuse me with their goodnesses consistency and customer oriented service in my 10 years of beeing their customer. I would recommend HostEurope without any concerns!

Ich bin inzwischen seit 2008 Kunde bei HostEurope. Was die Rahmenbedingungen angeht begeistert mich das Unternehmen durch die absoluten stabilen Konditionen. Im Detail: Es gab 2012/2103 eine Umstellung der Domain-Pakete in dessen Zuge der Preis minimal aber auch die Kontingente für Speicherplatz, Traffic, Anzahl E-Mail-Adressen usw. deutlich erhöht wurden. Auch die Zuverlässigkeit möchte ich positiv hervorheben - Ausfälle meiner Internetpräzenz gab es in dieser Zeit so gut wie gar keine und die Antwortzeiten der HostEurope Server sind TOP.
Die Verwaltung der Internetpräsenz geht sehr einfach und ist ausgezeichnet dokumentiert, so dass es mir tatsächlich Spaß macht meine Homepage zu administrieren.
Als ich vor kurzem nach 10 Jahren mein erstes "Problem"-Ticket aufmachte wurde mir innerhalb kürzester Zeit geholfen:

Ich bekam eine Anleitung was ich Einstellen müsste - dies wurde von der sehr freundlichen und kompetenten MitarbeiterIN im Service bereits direkt für mich vorgenommen.
* Technische Erläuterung:
Ich bekam auch einen Link zu dem technischen Hintergrund um den Hintergrund zu verstehen
Das war absolut das Beste "Supporterlebnis", dass ich bisher hatte! Großes Dankeschön an die tolle Mitarbeiterin von HostEurope.
Es ist schön, dass es solche Erlebnisse heute noch gibt und HostEurope mit Tugenden wie Konstanz und kundenorientiertem Service mich nach 10 Jahren als Kunde nach wie vor begeistert und ich hier ohne Bedenken meine Empfehlung aussprechen kann!

Gets worse and worse
Gets worse and worse. I just wanted to enable webapps like Wordpress on my HE webspace and even this is not supported anymore. Had some outages as well in the past. Thinking about switching to another hoster, can't recommend it.

Beware! When you want to leave they have you pay for the product for several months after you try to cancel the product (cancellation terms, it's in the fine print somewhere).
Update:
Can't answer to the answer but I have already emailed about this issue and this is what you said:
"Please be informed that your Virtual Server Linux L 6.0 includes a contract duration of 12 months. Therefore 2018-12-28 was the next possible cancellation date due to the contract conditions. Therefore this date was the next possible cancellation date on 2018-08-02. For that reason the server keeps on being invoiced until that date, legitimately.
Therefore we kindly refuse your inquiry to cancel the contract to an earlier date."
Update 2: they asked for my customer number, gave it to them, they did nothing to resolve the this. They didn't even bother contacting me.
Our business engaged Hosteurope for VPS…
Our business engaged Hosteurope for VPS services. Sadly, in spite of some good people working there, their accounts department is substandard, argumentative and dishonest. Their legal info substandard and incorrect as they are using misleading information on their site about there being a 14 day notification to terminate services but argue it is 28 days. Long story short, they are now committing fraud as they are still removing money from our Mastercard over a month after we terminated our services and there is no reply to our emails objecting to this. Another example is that they do not even inform new customers of terms and conditions when signing up with them. Web site is a mess of German and English and ridiculous to navigate for non-German speakers. There are many better choices, do not trust Hosteurope or their owners GoDaddy. Your precious information should only be kept with people you can trust.

Be very careful with this company, they could not or would like to provide hosting for my Danish domain. Regardless, I have to pay for their "service" for a year or until the end of the contract to "provide their service"...

Caution: It's Host Europe: Don't Make Mistake!
They are famous and big name not only in Germany but also in European hosting where Contabo and Server4You are also there along with Hetzner king. But first disappointment is, if you sign-up with them for a service and process of sign-up will be going-on your rent-money, as this also include verification through documents whether you use or not, you will be charged for this through services you signed-up and delay in verification is on customer's hand too. Oh come on, if you have good servers, better keep them there in Germany as they will only be sold if you will show some kind of professionalism plus good marketing habits. Not only this, they will file cases against you and go to court if you will not pay them even 50 bucks about which most of the customer doesn't know anything while company keep giving them threat of legal issue. Their support team only knows German, their website is in German not fully in English, means user experience is zero! Why? Because, Man it is part and brand of HEG and EIG which are now both owned by GoDaddy! Go User Experience Daddy! Plus their prices are luxurious. Un-affordable!!!

They acquired my data from a known fraudulent webhoster, with whom I had already cancelled my contract over a year prior, which was difficult enough. Sadly, Host-Europe turned the scam up a couple of notches:
Apparently, if you cancel with these kinds of companies, you simply move further down the food chain and become fair game, because they have all your data while you don't even know who you are dealing with.
Host-Europe customer support told me they were contacting me using an older email-address that THEY ADMITTEDLY KNEW DIDN'T exist (it bounces for over 10 years). Mind you, I have never become a customer with Host-Europe, they bought my data!
They used this dead email-address to upgrade my contract to the most expensive one they have. Cancellation period: 12 Month!!!
Their costumer-Support was actually amused on the phone. You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and that you could do nothing about it.
Falling prey to these scammers has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It's angering, humiliating and expensive.

Am happy with it!
Polite, friendly and helpful technical support. They are answering very fast and can always help me with my hosting issues. My managed server is reliable, efficient and did never fail (never happened to me). Backend is very user-friendly and always working properly. Unfortunately, there is no managed WebServer larger than Supreme with more than 16gb RAM.

Worst hosting company I've worked with in over 20 years of working online!
I have been a customer of Host Europe for almost 10 years and even so it is by far the worst hosting company I've even had the displeasure of working with. Expensive, rude, condescending and abusive. Be warned that you may lose your account and be at the mercy of their account managers!
If you value good hosting with polite, friendly customer and technical support look elsewhere. If I could I would sue them for deliberately tossing me around from one representative to another, ruining my business, purposefully withholding me from receiving my server's backup while wasting my time and making my business with them living hell!
This company - which was sold to Go Daddy - should be avoided at all costs. For me it's a "never again" experience with this company!

Good price-value ratio
The VPS I use at HostEurope is running quite well, during the year, it was not any serious problem, nor unexpected service blackout. Sometimes a bit slower than it might be, but within the acceptable zone. The english version of customer portal needs improvement, there are quite lot untranslated areas in there.

Very good and service with excellent value for money. Disappointing that, for a British company, and a website that offers an English interface, very little of the information is actually in English, especially the FAQs.
Worst service
Support doesn't answer or answers after a few days. Remotely access panel doesn't work already for half year, support says to use ssh. Doesn't see any reason to use this service.
