Disgraceful company who price gouge once you sign up..
I was able to find another VPS Windows 2024 service for half the price and double the speed.
When you contact their customer support they are rude and act like they are doing you a favour.
I recently subscribed to this service, hoping for a seamless experience, but unfortunately, it has been nothing short of disappointing.
I attempted to use the service on Ubuntu 24.0 from an Asian location, but it failed to work as expected. After encountering persistent issues, I requested a refund. However, Alexey (who I believe is a staff member) informed me that refunds are not possible due to their terms of service.
To address the problem, they replaced the OS with version 22.0, but even after this change, the credentials stopped working entirely. I wasted three full days trying to resolve these issues, only to find myself unable to use the service at all.
Additionally, I noticed that the Testimonials section on their website appears to be filled with hardcoded, repetitive content for each person, which raises concerns about the authenticity of their reviews.
I tried to order a vps here because they claim to offer paypal as a payment method, and that its possible to cancel the service at any given time when its not needed anymore.
On their website they state the following:
"No paper fuss, no agreement signing: just pay the subscription and use our services when you need them. If you don’t need our solution anymore, just stop paying for it. We don’t charge any cancellation fees and do not require any preliminary notification."
I tried to order a vps and tried to pay with paypal but it would only work in case of a prolonged subscription , which is not what i was looking for so i emailed host-world and told them to cancel my order and delete my account.
They cancelled the order but they refuse to delete my account which is a clear violation of GDPR article 17.
There is no need for them to keep my data since no services were delivered and no payments were made.
All with all this has been a horrible experience so i will give them a one star rating.
I would not have posted this if they would have just cancelled the order and deleted my account but they refuse and that makes me angry and makes me write this.
I hope they will delete my account soon otherwise i will leave another one start rating on google.
By the way all the five star ratings on their own website is just a fraud. I am sure that if i post a bad review there they won't post it on their website. Its all just marketing BS so be aware.
