I've rarely encountered such a poor customer service. Whether you leave a comment on Google Maps or inform Hornbach Switzerland of a problem with one of their products, they always try to dodge the issue by asking for information you already gave them.

Hornbach is a web-shop for do it your self.
The assortiment is enormous and the online technical assistance is good, I apriciate it very much. Since I don't have a car, I order everything on line. I am very satisfied with the delivery. I use Hornbach already for a couple of years know and for different projects, gardening, painting, renovation, tooling, etcetera. Generally, prices are reasonable.
The web-shop is very strong and informative. For each future project articles could be stored

Ordered a dishwasher that was delivered on time. No complaints whatsoever

Never ever again! Booked five units of a pleated shade for the window as their website suggested they had enough in stock at their store in Etoy, VD and got only two as it turned out, when I arrived at the store, that that was their actual stock at hand. Moreover, one of those two shades was not new (probably an exhibition sample) and was missing the mounting set. Wasted time (coming from Bern area), no apology or anything whatsoever received from their customer service as if it is normal selling customers used and incomplete items. All in all, you better find a better place for your home improvement shopping.

I bought a white bench and assembled it. 1 week later, it had yellow spots all over it. I went to complain (showed them pictures), was send from “Service” to “Bench sale”, to “Paint”, back to “Bench sale” and ended again in “Service”. They agreed, “the bench was not supposed to look like that”, but did not solve the problem (could have offered me a small bucket of white paint). They asked me to “disassemble” the bench, bring it back to get a new Bench. If this however also got yellow spots, I could again bring this back and get my money refunded. This is not what I expect from a “professional” Baumarkt. I will in the future use “Coop-Bau+Hobby” or “Migros Baumarkt”, where I have experienced a service oriented “Consumer market” mentality.
